Chapter 2

Last night I was so excited I couldn't sleep. Soon Fred and George would stop making fun of me for not being at Hogwarts. Also even though I woudn't tell anyone I'm excited to get away from mom, I mean she calls me Ickle Ronnikins and Fred and George don't let me forget it.

Anyways after breakfast we all gathered around the fireplace to go to Diagon Ally by floo powder. I went through and arrived in Flourish and Blott's I actually didn't need any books because between my all my brother's old books I had all the books I needed, so Ginny and I just waited for pur brothers to get their books.

After Flourish and Blott's we went to Potente Potions where Percy, Fred, George and I got the ingredients we will need for potions. I none of us got cauldrones because they already had their's from before and I had Bill's old one.

We skipped Madame Malkin's because all of us had robes from someone else in the family. If you are wondering why we all get so many hand-me-downs it's because my family isn't very well of and we can't afford for all 7 of us kids to get new stuff ever year.

Then we went Eylope's Owl Emporium . Since Percy is a prefect this year mum promised to get him an owl. Percy chose an ugly brown owl named Hermes but I guess it's better than our family owl Errol who can barely fly a mile without dropping to the ground!

Finally we went back to Flourish an Blott's to take the floo network home. I was feeling kind of down, I had been excited for nothing all I had gotten was potions supplies, I hadn't even got my own wand because that old bat Aunt Muriel had given mum one I could use. I was still excited to go to Hogwarts and in a few weeks I would be there.
