"And then I scored the winning goal! You should have seen the look on the goalie's face, it was priceless." Sanghyuk's loud voice rang out through the library. Ariel sighed, turning up her music a little more to try and block him out. Her crystal blue eyes skimmed the pages of her book as she tried to block out the rowdy conversation being held merely ten feet away from her. Sanghyuk was the star player on their university's soccer team, he was incredibly skilled, bringing their university to be one of the top in the country. Not only is he ridiculously athletic, he's also ridiculously popular. He has people of all kind falling at his feet as he walks through the halls. You'd think someone like that would be the stereotypical dumb jock, honestly. In Sanghyuk's case...

...that's pretty true.
Sanghyuk isn't mean. In fact, he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body. He's a good person all in all, he's just not the brightest bulb on the tree. His grades are okay in most aspects, but it's mainly because he has to keep them up to stay on the team. It's honestly a wonder he's made it this far without a tutor.

Ariel looks at her rose gold wristwatch, realizing it's time to head to her next class. Unluckily for her, Sanghyuk has the same class as her. "God... I hope I get to class before he does, he always seems to take my seat." Before she can reach for her textbook, it goes flying off the table. Someone lands in the spot on the table right in front of her with a loud thud. Her eyes widen as she backs up slightly, trying to see who it is. "....Sanghyuk?" She says cautiously.

The brown haired boy turns to look at her, grinning widely. "Hey, it's the quiet girl from my psych class!" Sitting up and dusting himself off, he picks her book up and hands it too her. "Sorry about that, my friend can just be a little rowdy." He gestures over to his friend Wonshik, who's grinning sheepishly. "We were just amped up about our last game! Did you go?" Ariel's eyes widen a little, is this actually happening? Is the almighty Han Sanghyuk actually taking his time he normally uses to doze off to talk to someone he never really acknowledges? "I, uh, I've never been to a soccer game, actually." Ariel says, her voice quieter than intended. Sanghyuk's jaw drops. "No way! They're great." Ariel nods, grabbing the rest of her stuff. "I bet they are, and I'd love to stay and talk about them, but I've got to get to class." She turns and starts walking away, hoping he won't follow behind. "Ah, you're right! Class starts soon, I'll head on over with you." Ariel rolls her eyes, knowing there's no way out of this. Sanghyuk speeds up until he's beside her, turning to her and smiling. "I'm Sanghyuk, what's your name?" She keeps her gaze on the hallway. "I'm Ariel." Sanghyuk pauses for a moment, not used to someone not giving him full attention. "That's a pretty name, fitting." Ariel sighs, but her cheeks still flush. "Thank you." She turns to look at him, offering him a small smile.

The two turn the corner, walking to the psychology classroom. "So, you said you haven't been to a soccer game before?" Ariel nods, the two entering the classroom. "Well, I'm playing tonight if you'd be interested in going. We're playing against this university from the state over-" Sanghyuk pauses, realizing that Ariel had already gone to her seat. He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "What's my deal?" He thinks to himself as he walks to his seat. "I've never talked to her before, but..."

"I'm definitely going to get her to come out of her shell."
