My Cheerleader

[RIN'S POV]

It was the day of the finals game between Namimori Highschool vs. Japan Central Highschool and I was part of it even though I didn't like to play. *sigh*

"Come to think of it I don't even have a jersey yet haha! Yes an excuse I can finally go to sleep again"

*knock* *knock*

"I was about to go to sleep c'mon its 5 in the morning *sigh*" I got up and opened the door.

And it was the whole basketball team.

"Hey Rin we knew you weren't gonna play because you don't have  jersey and shorts so here we made it for you haha" Ryuji said.

Ok how did they even know that?! What the Heck they must be wizards. Yeah i'm pretty sure they are.

"Uhh Rin? What are you thinking about hahaha"

"Oh! Uhh its nothing haha, thanks for the jersey guys" I said.

"No problem Rin hehe we are gonna warm up at the school right know wanna come? And by the way the game starts at 7 so you need to be there by 6 hehe"

"I'll think i'll just take a nap haha thanks again"

"No problem bro" Ryuji said while they were leaving.

I closed the door and went back to my bed holding the jersey they gave me. It was number 1 haha they still remembered my jersey when I was the varsity captain.

I placed the jersey on the table and jumped to my bed and slept for a little while.

*knock* *knock*

"What now?" I got up again opned the door

It was Ryuji.

"Hey Rin its 7:45 o'clock already! We need you Rin! The game is not looking good."

"Already? Man that was fast"

"Get ready Rin faster the game already started i'll be waiting in front of your apartment"

"Yeah Yeah"

I got ready. Took a bath, fixed my hair and wore my jersey, shorts and my leg supporters. Why did they even pick me? My body still hurts from the fight. Well no use complaining now.

I got my necklace and went out where Ryuji was waiting for me. So we both head out to the basketball game.

When we reached the gym it already started and the score was Home(that's us) 50 - Away 66 and it was the 3rd Quarter with 2:00 minutes. Remaining.

I rushed to the coach and told him to sub me in but the coach told me to start in the 4th well I didn't have much a choice but wow we are down by 16. Shocking.

After 2 minutes the 3rd quarter ended and the score was
Home 58 - Away 70.

So they headed to the bench and the coach told us what to do and we went back there.

The 4th Quarter started with 12 minutes. It was our ball and I was the point guard so they passed to me.

I dribbled the ball to the other side and then I heard a scream and immediately looked at the crowd. I was so surprised and happy hehe it was Shinoa.

[SHINOA'S POV]

I told Victorique to help me with the banner and we opened it. It wrote Let's Go Namimori! Let's Go Rin!

"Let's Go Namimori! Let's Go Rin!" I shouted and smiled at Rin.

Everyone started to repeat after me hehe looks like my plan worked. I threw a flying kiss to Rin.

[RIN'S POV]

I caught the flying kiss and I hit my cheek. Wow she did this all for me how sweet of her. I shot the ball from almost mid court and it went in haha the power of love? I guess hahaha.

I was so hot! Shooting basket after basket, Drive after Drive, Three's after Three's. I was just feeling it. So last 10 seconds on the clock the score was 81-83 we were down by 2 and we all knew that I was gonna take the last shot.

I got the inbound pass and suddenly 3 guys guarded me. It was a triple team and there was 5 seconds left. I dribbled trying to make space for a three. Three seconds left and I shot it!

*beep* *beep*

I got it before the buzzer and the ball was flying to the basket. Honestly, I don't know if its going in or not I just believed and the ball......

Went in!

We won! 84-83 whooooo! The crowd came down the stands shouting we are champions hahaha and the team carried me it was such a happy feeling. I was Shinoa there clapping and I went towards her.

"I thought you were at the hospital? Haha so you were awake! Hahahaha"

"Hmmm maybe? Hahaha nice job out there mr. MVP haha"

"Nah I won't win that award haha I only played in one game bleeeeh haha anyway thanks for all this"

"It was nothing Rin haha"

She then got close to me and kissed my cheek.

"That's for saving me" She blushed while saying it.

I blushed and kissed her on her forehead.

"That's for everything"

She was blushing so hard hahaha as in reaaaally red! I carried her and we celebrated all of us.

This was a day to be remembered.
