Prologue:
I used to be happy.
I used to be a kid.
Weren’t we all children at some point in time?
But oblivion and innocence and happiness don’t come with lifetime warranties.
No, nothing in life (other than overpriced objects) comes insured.
At least, no matters of the heart or mind.
But perhaps that’s irrelevant.
Perhaps nothing needs to be insured or guaranteed in life. Perhaps we need no promises. Perhaps we just need to know we’re “O.K.”
Maybe all a person has to do is find their own contentment, their own place where they fit, a place where life doesn’t have to be perfect or unscathed but rather bearable and comfortable.
A normal.
Ha. What I wouldn’t give for normal.
For the matters of my life to be summed up in dull generalizations—that would be normal. But then, who is really normal? Would one find happiness even there? What’s life without confusion? Without problems? Without hope? Second chances?
What is life without love?
Rejection.
That’s where my story begins.
Rejection. Because Rejection was the beginning of My End. Or, perhaps Rejection helped me to discover what I always knew to be true because Rejection taught me persistence. Perhaps persistence taught me how to rewrite my life the way I desired.
I sound like a rambling idiot.
But, then, life will never make sense.
There are too many idiosyncrasies and morals and human characteristics involved to understand why life turns out the way it does.
But none of that matters because this is my story, my life.
Not yours.
But you may perceive it how you will.

New story I'm thinking about posting up here. I have minimal freetime to write, but I actually like this one unlike my other story( and I have this one mapped out in my brains) :) So if anyone likes it I'll continue- I will have more time once November comes.
I'm going to write this in first person rather than third person like I usually do just so I can try something new :)
Also, I promise the whole thing is not written like this. She overanalyzes lots of things, but the whole story won't be written like this- this is just the Prologue :)
Voting/Commenting lets me know you care!
Thanks :)
Ps. I do not own the photo on the cover. I found it on google images.
