Paints

I park my car and unlock my front door. When I walk in the door Lily is licking up the mess Harryeft in the kitchen. "Lily! Get off the counter!" I shout. She looks up at me as if to say sorry. "It's okay Lily. Sorry for shouting." I say and then laugh at how crazy I must look talking to my cat.

I start cleaning up my messy cabin by placing all of the dirty dishes into the sink. I then sweep the floor and wash down the countertops with a damp cloth. There. All clean. I open the cupboard and take out a tin of tuna fish and empty it into Lily's bowl. She licks her lips and digs in.

I take a quick shower and change into a cute navy and white polka dot dress that I bought before I came. I pair it with a white cardigan and grab my red bag. I take my jeys and throw them into my bag. I hop into my car and drive to the shopping centre to get something to bring over to Harry's for dinner.

My eyes scan the sweet aisle and then the biscuit aisle. My eyes find oreos. I take a packet and walk towards the checkout till. "Hello. how was your day?" The lady recited. "Great and yours?" I reply. "Great thank you. Would you like to check out our 2 for 1 deals on-" "No thank you." I cut her off and handed her the money.

I leave the shop and go back home. Jessa is just leaving her cabin when I climb out of my car. "Hey Niamh. I'm going to Ms.Brown to get some paint and spray paint. Want to come?" She asks. "Yeah sure. I'll just throw these inside." I say and indicate to the oreos. She nods and waits patiently outside. I come back out of my house and we hop into Jessa's car to go to the yellow zone. That's where the teacher's cabins are. We arrive and see all of the teachers sitting in their gardens chatting to one another. We spot Ms.Brown and she waves to us.

We park up and walk over to her. "Hi Ms.Brown. Would you mind if we got some paints?" Jessa asks politely. "No problem girls. The door's open." She says and points to a cabin across the road. This must be the cabin that holds all of the paints. "Thank you." We say simultaniously and walk away. We enter the cabin and are shocked at the amount of paints this cabin could hold. Stacks of sealed buckets and containers containing paints lined the walls. "Woah. Well try not to get lost." Jessa says. We burst into laughter. My eyes scan the various colours and I eventually pick out some mint green, red, light pink, hot pink, baby blue, black, white, dark green, turquoise and various pastel colours. "Have you got enough there?" Jessa asks sarcastically. "Says you!" I laugh as I look at Jessa struggling to carry 12 different colour in spray paint and normal paint.

When we get home we both throw the buckets of paint over our fences and into our gardens. "I'm going to get started straight away." Jessa informs me. "Oh yeah. Are you coming down to the lounge tonight?" She asks. "Yeah. Harry asked me..." I say and blush. "You're blushing babe." She laughs. "You two are so adorable." I blush an even deeper shade of red and she laughs. "N'aww you guys need to get together." She giggles. "Who needs to get together?" I hear from behind me. Shit. I look behind my shoulder to see Harry in his garden. "Were you talking about me?" He says and chuckles. I look back at Jessa. "Your face right now is priceless Niamh." She laughs. "And no we weren't talking about you Mr.Curls. "Keep my curls out of this. Don't deny you were talking about me. I know I'm so irresistible." He laughs. "Shut up Styles. So you're bringing the most shy, quite, innocent and cute girl to the lounge?" She says with a smirk. "I sure am." He says proudly. "That just screams 'I freaking live this girl'." She says and winks at me. "Jessa!" I half shout half whisper. "I do." He says and blushes. "I'm gonna go get our dinner ready bye!" He says quickly. As soon as he closes the door Jessa give me a look as if to say 'See. He likes you'. "I have to go. See you tonight." I respond and run into my cabin.
