Change is...Good?

Alvin POV
I woke up and of course Slade wasn't next to me. I Sighed as I slowly got off my bed. I rubbed my eyes and yawned as I walked to my closet. I picked out a red shirt and Jeans. I changed from my PJ's and walked out my room. After I freshened up in bathroom I walked downstairs. I saw Simon and Theodore. Theodore was giggling but Simon was yelling 'get down' to someone. I looked over to who Simon was looking at. It was Slade and he was hanging upside on the Chandelier with his arms cross, he Smirked. I didn't understand the situation. I would usually be doing this sorta thing Slade's doing and Simon would be yelling at me.
"Aw Simon Your no fun" Slade said as he lightly swung on the Chandelier.
I sat down next to Simon and chuckled at the show Slade was putting on.
"Alvin! Do something!" Simon yelled
"Okay okay" I said
"Que Pasa Slade?" I asked
Slade looked at me confused
"Now what made you think I could understand you" Slade said as he stopped swinging
Me and Simon nearly fell out of our seats.
"Your the one who taught me" I said confused
"I don't remember teaching you but I do know how to say one or two words in Spanish... Mi Amor" Slade said with a chuckle
Simon and me looked at Slade shocked
"Mi Amor!?" Simon said as he looked at Me
"What's that mean?" Theodore said
"My love" Simon answered
"Care to explain Alvin" Simon added
I chuckled nervously
"Surprise" I said nervously
"Wow this is Awkward" Slade said with a chuckle as he got down.
"Well you see Simon I liked Slade since he first stepped foot in the house...but we became a couple after his first day at our school" I explained with a light blush. Slade chuckled softly and sat next to me. I grabbed his hand and smiled.
"Your okay with it...right"
"What!?...of course I'm okay with it! I'm mad because you kept it from us...I mean we're brothers" Simon said
"Yeah!" Theodore said in agreement
I chuckled
"Thanks guys and I'm sorry but me Slade agreed to not tell anyone" I said I as I stared at Slade who just smirked
"Don't look at me? I don't remember making this agreement" Slade said
"What!?" I said confused
"There something strange going on....this is definitely not normal" Simon said
"Maybe something happened last night with Slade and Jonny" Theodore said
"Well he did change his eye color" I said
"Yeah we noticed but that wouldn't cause memory loss...unless" Simon paused and then looked at Slade
"What?" Slade said confused
"Unless the guy who did his eye jabbed the needle in to far...but that's okay because that would mean his memory will slowly return by itself. Right now he only remembers things that were most important to him" Simon explained
"Oh that's good" I said and hugged Slade and hugged back

We made it to school and walked into class. Slade sat next me and snickered.
I looked at him confused.
"What's so funny?" I asked
He looked at me and smiled
"You'll see" he said
The teacher walked in and a bucket of white paint that was on top of the door fell on him. He and the class was shocked. Slade Burst out laughing, I snickered and then Laughed as well and so did everyone else. Somehow the teacher knew it was Slade.
"Slade Smith to the principals office!" He yelled
Slade shrugged and got up and walked out the classroom. I did the same but was stopped at the door.
"Where are you going Alvin?" Mr.Morgan asked
"Um I helped set up the prank" I lied
"Alright then get going" Mr.Morgan said. I then continued to follow Slade

We're now walking in the hallway and heading to the principals office. Slade looked at me and smiles. I blushed lightly
Slade kisses me on the cheek and my blush gets darker.
"Wow Alvin... Getting in trouble with me*chuckles* yeah your a keeper" Slade said
"Yeah well I get trouble for things like this all the time it's no big deal" I said as I rubbed the back of my head
Slade laughed softly
We arrived at the Office and the principal called us in. We sat down in two of the 3 chairs that were in the room.
"I'm very disappointed in you Slade I expect this sort of thing from Alvin but you...the new student? I would of never guessed" The Principal said as he began writing something down
"Damn guess I'll have to try harder" Slade said
"Excuse me?" The Principal said confused
"I'm the new bad boy" Slade said and looked at me
I chuckled.
"I see...well you'll be happy to know I have contacted Dave Seville" the principal said
"You what!" Slade said shocked and stood up
I laughed softly
He chuckled nervously
Slade's POV
"Oh no Dave is gonna kill me" I said
I turned my head to look at Alvin and he was giving me a smug look
I chuckled nervously
"Not like I care or anything" I said as I looked away
"Smooth...real smooth Slade" Alvin said sarcastically
"Ah shut up Alvin" I said as I sat back down.

Dave was driving me and Alvin home because the principal said we were suspended for 3 days and today was Friday so that means there was a chance Dave would ground us for the weekend. I admire Alvin for taking the punishment with me even though he didn't have to, so I feel like I owe him. I thought was interrupted when I felt a pain in my right eye. I covered my eye and it began to throb. I started remembering things.
Flash back
I was in my grandma and Grandpa's house. Me and my cousins Carlos and Isabel were spending the night at there house.
"Alright kids 15 minutes before dinners ready" Grandma said
"Okay" we all said
We were all about the same age with the exception of Carlos who was a year older than me and Isabel. I was 7 and so was Isabel and Carlos was 8. They were all human I was the only Chipmunk in the family. I would soon realize that being small dose have its perks.
"Hey let's play hide and seek" Isabel suggested
Me and Carlos nodded.

Carlos was 'it' and was counting. Me and Isabel hid. She hid herself in the bathroom. I hid myself in a pile of clothes in the guest room. I chuckled thinking this was the best hiding spot. I heard the front door open and then I heard a bang...it was a gunshot.
"Carlos!" My grandma yelled
But her yelling ceased as another gunshot was heard. My Grandpa was shot twice. And then I heard foot steps and then I heard the bathroom door open and Isabel screaming before another gunshot shot was fired. I heard the the person say some words but I didn't understand what language he was saying it in.
"Riposa in pace Bastardo" He said as he walked out the house. I stayed in the clothes for hours before I was picked up and rescued by the police.
End of Flash Back
I yelled in horror as I woke up in Alvin's bed. I got up and sobbed and growled in pain as memory's flooded my mind. But slowly pain ceased and my head was then filled with some good memory's. Getting a toy nerf gun for my 10th birthday, Skipping my school to go and protect my little cousin from bullies, how proud I made my father when I gotten straight A's on my report card, Meeting Alvin, Meeting the Seville's.
I smiled and walked out the room and wiped away my tears. I had all my memory's back But something still changed...instead of hiding from this killer. I want him to know that I'm still alive and I'm gonna let him know how great my life is going...He doesn't deserve prison. He needs to die by a Smith.
Alvin noticed me in deep thought and nudged my shoulder. I looked at him and smiled.
"You okay?" Alvin asked
"Nunca he estado mejo(Never been better)" I said with a chuckle
"Su memoria está de vuelta(your memory is back)" Alvin said in excitement and hugged me.
I hugged back.
"I love you Slade" Alvin said
"I love you too alborotador(troublemaker)" I said and Laughed softly.
