Chapter 16

(A/N: Ugh, school is literally close ahead, like I start again on September 3 and I am dreading it. It felt like Summer had just started and now here comes school again...least I'll be a Sophomore instead of a freshman!)

Chapter 16 :D

Skyler's POV

"You don't deserve to be in-in here, you know." Julie said, moving her next playing piece since it was her turn.

"I know." I mumbled, letting out a sigh. I didn't belong in here, I shouldn't be in here. How could someone so low and shallow do this? Oh right, Rosa doesn't have a heart...must've forgotten. How silly of me.

"I've been in here quite some ti-ime..." She commented, watching as I made the next move with my playing piece.

"How long?" I asked quietly, moving my eyes to her face.

"About three or four years, it's not so bad now that yo-you're here...but these couple of weeks with you here, I've realized that you're not so...crazy after all." Julie concentrated on her next move. I thought about how lonely or insane she might have really gotten to in here that long. Shouldn't she be better or do they like to keep her here?

"How come...you haven't left?" I was a little scared to ask, but I was quite curious.

"Uhh...no-no one is...here to get me...and the-they think I'm still insane." She stumbled over her words, getting jittery. Oops, I didn't mean for that to happen.

"I'm sorry," I whispered and then I made my next move, "and I just won the game as well..."

"Don't be sorry," Julie whispered with a smile, "winning is supposed to fun."

"I guess it can't be as fun when you're in a place like this." I sighed, resting my arm on the table, and holding my head up with the palm of my hand.

"You trust me, right?" Julie questioned.

She's the only one left, right? There isn't any way that I couldn't trust her, I have nothing left to lose.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Good." Julie got up and got taken back to her room and I tried to think, why would she ask that without letting me question why? At least I have a lot of time to think...

Mazelynn's POV

"So where's Zayn and...Skyler?" I asked, taking a pause before I could even say Skyler's name. Rosa was going to pay, karma hits them the best, the liars. They face the bigger consequences, but only when the lie does harm. It always comes back for them, always.

"He said they'd be here in ten minutes, but he said that about eight minutes or so." Niall replied, picking Aiden up, and holding him.

"I'm hungry, daddy." Aiden told Niall.

"I know you are, buddy. So am I, but we have to wait for Uncle Zayn and Aunt Skyler." Niall kissed his head and I grinned. I'm glad he loves Aiden the way he does, I thought I'd never find someone so lovely as him, but now he's standing right here in front of me.

"Mummy! Is sissy hungry too?" Aiden asked, pointing towards my belly. Niall and I both laughed.

"Yes, she is hungry." I nodded, letting my giggles fade away.

"Uncle Zayn! Auntie Sky!" Aiden jumped out of Niall's arm and hugged the both of them, but as soon as Rosa put her arms around my son I coughed, letting a glare hit her eyes before Zayn or Niall could see it.

"Yay! Can we eat now?" Aiden jumped up and down in front of me.

"Yes, baby. We can." I smiled, running my fingers through his soft hair.

"Come on, daddy!" Aiden tugged on Niall's hand as all of us walked into a restaurant, waiting in line to be served.

"How many?" A waitress asked.

"Five, please." Niall answered, carrying Aiden the rest of the way.

This might be a long night...

Rosa's POV

I took another bite of my steak and made a silly face towards Aiden which he had given me a cute laugh. Too bad I had to threaten her, maybe Mazelynn will keep her trap shut.

"Like the food?" Zayn whispered in my ear, I turned to him and smiled.

"Yeah, it's great." I nodded, taking the steak off of my fork slowly with my mouth. Zayn watched me and his tongue flickered over his lips before returning back into his mouth.

"Something wrong?" I chewed, giggling a little.

"Tease." Zayn chuckled, resting his hand on my thigh. At least I distract him away from seeing my body, I don't want him to not see scars, but I do a pretty good job at keeping his eyes away from my body, especially when I'm in control.

I continued to eat my food and his fingers would graze my inner thigh, going from high to low in this pattern with tracing.

I felt my real phone vibrate beside me and I made sure Zayn was caught up with Niall and Mazelynn, even Aiden possibly so I could check this.

"I'm going to the bathroom guys, I'll be right back." I excused myself.

"What is it? I'm at dinner with the four of them! Can't this wait?!" I answered with an angry expression.

"Uh...Rosa? There is a problem..." 

"What?" I growled.

"Skyler."

Zayn's POV

"I'm going to the bathroom guys, I'll be right back." Skyler excused herself after standing up from our table.

"So you're six months pregnant right?" I asked Mazzie.

"Yes, seven months in three days." Mazelynn grinned, rubbing her big bump.

"Do you feel kicking around this time or..." I trailed off, waiting for her to answer. I was always curious since I know I was going to want a kid one day and I'd like to know how the pregnancy pretty much works better than people saying that she gets bigger every month.

"Ever since I had gotten to be six months. It's about from 20 to 25 weeks when you'll feel the kicking start." Mazelynn answered, shrugging her shoulders.

"You really want a baby, don't you?" Niall asked.

"Definitely, but I don't know when the right time is, but I need to marry Skyler first. I don't want to get her pregnant before, I feel like she won't love me the same way...or something will go wrong." I nervously rambled on.

"And you think I felt different after he got me pregnant? We're only engaged, just recently." Mazelynn laughed.

"But I would wait until you marry her." Mazelynn continued, seeming quite hesitant...maybe she's just full from dinner or nearly getting there.

"I think I will. I mean I've brought up your baby a lot, I get excited to talk about it. Becoming a dad seems so exciting, especially after seeing Niall and the way he loves and takes care of Aiden." I smiled, looking over at Aiden who was drinking out of a styrofoam cup of juice.

"It is exciting...I would never change this life with Aiden and the newborn coming along." Niall grinned at Mazelynn and Aiden.

Soo...any ideas who the person Rosa is working with? Or how about an idea of what happened to Skyler?
