Debbie's POV- As the sun came up, the more worried I had became. What had happened? How bad was the damage? Was the damage so bad that we'd have to live on the streets? Where was my sister going to live? Did any of our animals get hurt? Not my dogs; they were in our hotel room, but what about our cats? Just then my dad walks up behind me and tells me I should try and get some sleep, but I insisted I didn't need it. He said my mind is running on blank and that I should go and rest so I go and try. As I was laying down I pet my dog next to me and drifted off into a restless sleep.
Dad's POV- Carina and I have already met with red cross. They said Deborah and I could move back in 3 weeks from now. They gave me one more week because there was quite a bit of smoke damage that we'd have to clean and fix. Carina on the other hand gets 1 month to find a home and gave her $1000 without tax on anything to replace damage done by the fire. Today I'm planning on going to the house again and see how things are coming along. The damage has to be bad and I'm just really upset this had to happen to us. I mean we just became a happy family after my wife's death and now we have to go through emotional pain again. But I believe God put us through these things to show us what we don't already see.
