The first photo is the office; the second photo is a pic of the hallway and our rooms were at the end of it.
Carina's POV- I walk back to the neighbor's apartment and told Debbie that we would be going to a motel soon. She just nodded and looked down.
A little while later
Everyone is piling into the car and we start to head over to the motel. I wait in the car with the kids while Eric goes and tells the office we are here. At the moment the time is 3 am, 2 hours after the house caught on fire.
A few minutes later dad pulls up. Debbie is still shaken up and is still on her phone texting someone and the kids are asleep. Eric returns a while later with the keys to the rooms and we head to them. I set the three kids in on bed and as I put Erica down she mutters something, "mommy, why did this have to happen to us?" and falls asleep again. I look at them and leave the room. I head to the front of the office where Debbie and Eric are. We all sit down facing the road staying quiet. I tell Debbie that she should try to sleep, but she said she's too shaken up. We stayed there until the sun came up talking about our sides of the story.
