His Light in the Dark

-Chapter One-

Earth.

I respect this planet, I have for many years. This was suppose to be my temporary home but then I met Ciel. Ciel was just a little boy when I met him. It was his birthday when I saw the mansion on fire. I risked my life just to save Ciel. When I got out of the mansion, I fainted where I stopped. When I woke up, we were taken away to get the eye tattoo. A month of this torture the group made us in. The torture...

Ceil has these three servants, I am not a good name rememberer and I only know Finnian.. He is sweet and funny. He is extremely strong which is cool. Finni is like my brother. Then there is the girl, she is so clumsy. Like, whenever she is getting something from a high place, she falls. I mean, I was like her when I was like 4 in human years but I stop when I was taken away from my 'friend'. There is that dude who has a cigarette in his mouth. He reminds of that dude from Naruto that Shikamaru had as a sensei.

When I got to Earth, I saw a mansion on fire. I was already in a bad shape but I had to save whoever was in there. I have a lot of regenerations so I thought YOLO. There was Ciel, crying. I helped him get out but we were greeted by this group of people who took us away. The group put a mark or as I call it, a tattoo, on our eyes and gave us a demon. I let Ciel go first since it was his birthday. Sure he got a cool looking one but I got Doc. Doc was a nickname I called someone a long time ago, I just can't remember who.

Doc is more fun than Sebastian. Doc wakes me up not too early and not too late. I go to sleep early because I need my beauty sleep. I do drink tea, it is delicious. I mix in a bit sugar to give me energy. Ciel is like my little brother but he acts sometimes strange around me. He sometimes ask me why I saved him and I tell him the truth, because I knew there was someone in the burning house I had to save. This makes him go to sleep sometimes.

I was the same height as Ciel when he was younger and now I'm taller than him. It's fun being with him and all but I feel like something is missing. I know it has something to do with Ciel but I don't know what. Sometimes, when I'm around him, I get this weird feeling I never experience. Perhaps that's why he acts so strange, he has the same weird feeling.

I walk towards Ciel's office like I always do when I'm bored. Usually, I will slam the door open and annoy the hell out of him but I am tired. I opened the door with my head and walk into the room like I am a zombie. Ciel looks up at me with his bored expression like I am everyone else then goes back to his face I have seen since I saved his life. It wasn't a relieved face but at least it isn't the emo face he gives to everyone.

"What's wrong?" I almost fell on the floor but I kept my balance. I looked up at him with a sad, tired, I-haven't-slept-in-years face. I sat next to him on a chair he got me and groaned. "I had a nightmare last night." I thought he'd laughed at me and call me a child but this time he looked worried. Maybe cause I never had a dream or a nightmare for my entire life. "What was the dream about?" My eyes were half open when he asked me this. I couldn't tell his expression or tone, all I heard is his question. "Someone took you and Sebastian betrayed you. I was taken away from someone and Doc came up to me and killed me. The last thing I saw was you..."

I felt a shake on my shoulder. "Eh?" I looked around, wondering what happened? "You fell asleep. What happened in your dream?" "Oh yeah. The dream. You were fighting these. Things. Then they killed you and you yelled my name..." Ciel shook me again. I didn't open my eyes. He soon quit and let me be. Doc came in and saw me asleep, hardcore.

"I suppose she didn't sleep well last night?" Ciel looked up with a plain expression. "She said she had a nightmare last night. She never had a dream or a nightmare before has she?" Doc looked towards me and saw my mouth, drooling. "She has had dreams before and they come true fifty percent of the time. I suppose this might be the first nightmare she had." Ciel sighed and turned towards me.

"Do you want me to take her to her room sir?" Ciel shook his head. "Her room is being clean anyway. When she is asleep, she can't be disturbed or she will kill us all. You know what happened when someone poked her with a stick, right?" Doc gulp. "Y-Yes. He barely survived. Well, goodbye sir." Doc locked the door behind him and shut it. Ciel didn't want anyone to disturb me.

I woke up with a smell of food and tea. I saw Ciel, drinking tea without me. I hadn't had breakfast so I was starving. I grabbed the extra fork that was next to the plate and sat up. "Finally, you're awake just in time for dinner." I looked at him crazy. "DINNER?! I saw asleep for that long?!" Ciel smirked. "Yup. I bet you are starving." Then he laughed at me. I grabbed the food Doc picked out for me and started to shove it in my face. Ciel blushed or what seems to be blushed. Oh wait, his tea was too hot. Serves him right.

"Gah! Did your butler serve me this?!" I shrugged. I hadn't seen Sebastian all day to be honest. "Doc does play pranks sometimes. Serves you right for letting me starve." Ciel had his WHAT face and tried to contain his sanity. I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and hugged him. He was like a fish out of the water, in need of air. Ciel was flinging his arms all over the place. I heard footsteps coming towards the office so I quickly unwrapped my arm and drank my tea.

"Ah, Miss Ellie has woken up." Sebastian came into the room. I think it's bedtime since he didn't come here with anything. "What time is it? How long have I been out?" "About nine hours. It's bedtime." I might as well spit my tea. "Nine hours?! I have been out for nine hours?!" I can sense Ciel holding in his laughter and his blank stare. That little- "Miss Ellie, would you like to finish the rest of young master's work?" I groaned and said fine. Ciel gave me the rest of his food which made me happy. "Thank you Sir Emo!" Ciel gave me the look and went off.
