Chapter 2 :]
My alarm turned off and woke me up from my relaxing, dreamless sleep. I stretched my muscles and went straight to the bathroom and took a nice, warm shower and brushed my teeth.
My bathroom wasn't big nor was it small. It was practically white everywhere. White walls, white linoleum, white bathtub, white sink, white cupboards and so on. My bathtub and glass shower is also separated.
I wrapped my light green towel around my head and got changed into my blue skinny jeans and green Abercrombie and Fitch top with a white singlet underneath.
I slipped on my blue furry slippers and sat down on the stool in the bathroom as I unwrapped my towel from my head. I quickly blow dried my hair, leaving it in it's natural waves as I hate straightening my hair because it ruins people's hairs.
I also put on some make-up, making sure I look natural and not some prostitute that gets their looks off from the thick layers of their make-up. I grabbed my strawberry flavored lipgloss from my drawer and applied some on my lips.
When I finished with everything, I walked down the stairs and see my Mom reading the newspaper with a glass of coffee in her other hand.
"Good morning, Mother," I said and I came up to her.
She put down the newspaper and studied me by looking up and down. "Good morning," She said, "Laurice left early today. Her parents called."
I came up to her and kissed her on the cheek lightly, making sure I don't leave a lipgloss mark on her cheek.
"I heard you're going to see your Father," She said.
I nodded, "Yeah, I'm kind of nervous though. I mean, singing with him and exposing my identity is very nerve-wrecking."
She nodded, "Well, good luck, Sweetie. I'm sure you'll do fine," She smiled at me.
"Thanks, Mom."
"You're welcome." She looked at her Rolex watch and gasped. "Honey, I got to go, I have a very important meeting soon. I love you," She kissed me on the cheek, "Goodbye." And she left me.
"Goodbye, Mom," I whispered.
My Mom is the owner of one of the biggest marketing industries in the U.K. The business was originally my Grandparents but since my Mom is the oldest child among 1, the company is passed down to her.
I'm only 16, turning 17 this October, and my parents leave me alone quite a lot of times. Ever since I was 5 years old, I've always had a babysitter with me. My parents usually have to go to a business meeting here or overseas.
I grabbed the cereal box out of the cupboard and also a bowl and a spoon. I opened the fridge and grabbed the milk out.
I quickly ate my breakfast and left it in the sink as the house cleaner will clean it for us later on the day when we're away from the house.
I ran up my room and grabbed my white Louis Vuitton bag that was a present from my Dad and also grabbed the house keys.
I went to the secret security room and turned on all of the surveillance cameras, just in case we ever got robbed or other sorts of reasons. No one really knew about the surveillance camera except for my Mom, Dad and I.
---
I went to the front porch of the house and told the family driver to get the car and drive me to the studio where X Factor is taken place.
There was a tall, big security guard is securing the place, making sure that no 'intruder' comes in and ruins the show.
I walked up to him and he stopped me by extending his arm out, blocking my way.
