Facing The Demons

I'd been in the bathtub for two hours now and I still wasn't feeling any better. I sighed and hopped out. I couldn't exactly stay in there forever. Maybe looking at all of my magnificent clothes would make me feel better. I wrapped a towel tightly around my body and stepped out the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door and winced at the mess that I had made. I was going to have to pay for that.

I removed the towel from my body and replaced it with a black satin robe. I stroked the sleeved admiring its texture against my marble skin.

Eventually I moved towards my large walk in wardrobe. I ran inside eagerly and smiled in excitement. Everything was colour coded and every piece of clothing had a pair of shoes to match. I had never seen so many clothes in my life! I no doubt had ever even made half of the amount of money it would take to buy these clothes.

I eagerly began to look through them. It was mainly dresses. I had overheard a conversation whilst in the bath between two female vampires complaining that Aro disliked seeing the female members of his Coven wearing things that were made to be worn by men.

I moved over to the red section of my wardrobe feeling bold. I sorted through the variety of dresses and stopped on a particular one.

It was a floor length dress and the colour of blood. It was v-necked and had sequins around the waist and downand around the v-necked collar. It had three quarter length sleeves and where the legs were seen to be was a clear material.

I slipped it on excitedly and relished the feel of the material against my skin. It was beautiful. Not to mention that it looked amazing!! I moved over to the shoes and pulled out a pair of dark red high heels covered in soft glitter. I slipped them on my feet and smiled. I had never really dressed up much in the past. It felt good to do so.

My blood red eyes moved over to the large mirror and make up area and I felt my eyes light up with excitement. I applied some blood red lipstick and did the cat-eye look with my eyeliner.

My look was complete. It was time to face the demons.

I scowled. It was all Edwards fault that I was like this.

I stalked out of my room and made my way down to the throne room. I threw the doors open and barely noticed that everyone in the room stopped what they were doing to stare at me. Curious about my earlier outburst. They may not have seen it but they all heard it happen.

I made my way over to the three thrones, ignoring the looks from the rest of my new coven. I stopped in front of the stairs and lowered my eyes, tilting my head respectfully.

I heard Caius rise and he made his way towards me.

"Are you feeling better now?" he asked softly. He reached out and stroked my cheek tenderly.

I purred and leaned into his touch. "I'm sorry about my earlier outburst, Master. I'm still getting used to this new lifestyle."

He smirked before leaning over to whisper into my ear. "You look absolutely fetching Isabella."

I shivered at the feeling of his breath on my skin before my lips turned up into a small smile. "Thank you Master Caius."

I raised an eyebrow and looked at the other two leaders. "I expect that you want to know what my little outburst was all about and, I'll pay for everything that I damaged."

Aro chuckled his eyes burning with curiosity. "If we got everyone to pay for everything that they've broken in the past then they'd have nothing. Do not trouble yourself over nothing. But. You are right in saying that we are curious about your little... outburst.

I took a deep breath and told them the entire story. From the beginning to the end.
