Ana walked through the front door, to find....absolutely nothing. She didn't see her parents, or her dog Sparkles. "Mom? Dad?" Ana was very confused. She looked everywhere in the house, to find nothing. She even called her parents, but neither of them responded. Then, she heard a knock at the door. Ana ran to the door, but when she opened it, she was frozen. It was the police.
"Hello ma'am. Are you Ana?"
"Y-yes. I am. Why are you here sir?"
"I have bad news. Your parents.....they...they are dead."
Ana froze. 'My parents....dead?!? Please tell me this is a dream...'
" I'm sorry ma'am. But now you are going to live with the Kay's."
Ana felt a little bit of warmth. 'Im going to stay with Jake? Well at least that's good.....'
Tears flowed down her face. The officer put his hand on her shoulder. He calmed her down as she sniffled a little bit. She smiled shyly. Everything would be ok....it will be ok.
