In the Hospital

After half and hour of driveing. We made it to the hospital. There was a rush, doctors and nurses rushed out, took the stretcher with my love still on. A nurse in light green scrubs came over to me in the panic. "Hello, I am nurse Annabelle. I will be.." She looked at her clipboard, and flipped to Ellarose's file. "Ellarose's main nurse. What is your relationship with the patient?" "Um...boyfriend..soon to be finance." She smiled "well, if you need any help with the arrangement, let me know. I love couples!!" I smiled "alright, thanks..I think.." She had given me a slip of paper while we were talking. After she walked away, I looked at the paper, it listed the room number and her number as well for EllaRose. Some nurses were still walking around, trying to figure out what just happened. I walked on in the hospital to see Annabelle talking to the receptionist. She smiled and motioned me to go on in. I smiled a waved goodbye to her. I had reached room 26C after a while of being lost. Stood outside the door, afraid to go inside. Not knowing what laid on the opposite side of the door. I opened the door, it creaked. And to my very surprise, I saw EllaRose, awake. I ran into the room and gave her a monster hug. I kissed her cheek and I held her tight in my arms. After a while I felt tears rushing down my back, I pulled her in front of me. Her eyes were puffy, her hair was a mess, new tears were falling down her cheeks. "Jackson...I..am..sorry. I turned this world upside down. I hurt you, and everyone else. I..." I cut her off by wiping the tears off of her cheek. "It's alright, EllaRose, I love you. Please, don't blame yourself. It's important that you are alive now. Nothing else." She started bawling, she hugged me and cried into my shirt. I held her and rubbed her back, thanking God right now, that I am with my lover. I hoped that this moment would never end.
