It had been 2 weeks since the boy had joined the white coats. Cas had developed a certain feeling towards them, worse than any other she had felt before. A hate. She hated them. They took her happiness away. They did nothing more than treat her like an animal. 'Beast' she thought. 'Terrible, horrible ugly beast'. Everytime they came in, she would bang on the glass and scream at them, not paying any attention to how she was really feeling, they just jotted things down. But the boy. He didnt. while the others were furiously scratching at their papers he would smile so they wouldnt see, he smiled at her for as long as he could. But Cas refused to stop while they were there. Although while they were leaving, one by one, she would shoot him a small smirk before he dissapeard behind the thick door.
Cas sat against the wall farthest from the glass, scribbling things down in her small note book. Since the first time she had met the boy, all she could do was think about him. She wrote what she thought his name might be, and drew his features with great detail. She imagined being outside the glass with him, smiling and giggling as they watched mimi and pete and ghandi on the other side, trying to break through the glass and wondering how they had got in there. She thought about how the boy would react to her if she was outside. He seemed to like her now, but what if he changed his mind? What if he didnt like her the way she liked him? What if- wait. How did she like him? Did she like him as a best friend, like the ones in the books about the three wizard friends? Or..... did she like him in the way that hazel liked agustus? Did she- was she falling in love? She couldnt be. She didnt even know the boy other then the fact that he wasnt like the rest of the men. But, she checked it over. The symptoms seemed right. Butterflies in her stomach (it took her a while to understand that phrase) constant thought of him, and, what was the word..... oh yes. Obsession. A small smile appeared on her face. Love. She LOVED the thought of LOVE. And until now she hadnt noticed her feelings. From now on, she was derermined to learn everything about him. Well, everything she could from the other side.
