Chapter 1 - I Love Her

Marie POV

It’s New Year’s Eve, so much has happened in the two months since Harry showed up and my hotel in Texas. So much… my head hasn’t stopped spinning.

“Hey” someone breathed into my ear followed by a throaty moan that made my knees shake.

*Two Months Ago*

“Harry!?” I gasped

“Marie are you okay?” Chris called from the bedroom

“I, umm yeah… “Harry mouthed for me to follow him “Ed just wants to talk I’ll be back” I lied

I shut the door and followed Harry down the hall until he pulled me into the stair way.

“Harry…” I sighed

“Shh, let me talk… I know about you and him” he said as if it didn’t bother him at all “But I need to tell you something Marie” he paused and looked at me for permission to continue

“Go on” I said dryly

He closed the space between us by grabbing my waist and slamming his hips into mine and pushing me in to the wall. He placed his chest against mine and I could feel his hot breath on my neck.

“Harry… w-what are y-you doing?” I struggled to get out

“Shh, just wait!” he hissed and pulled away leaving just an inch between us. “Tell me you don’t feel anything for me” he whispered as his lips brushed my ear

“I’m with Chris now Harry!” I half shouted

“That’s not an answer Marie; if you didn’t feel anything” He traced my jaw with his index finger “this wouldn’t make your cheeks blush like they are.”

“Harry just stop!”

He hovered so close to me that I could feel his body heat radiating off of his body. My heart was racing and I kept getting the urge to lean in to him, but the thought of Chris waiting for me back in the room stopped me. He is my boyfriend. I “love” him.

I wasn’t sure of that last part, but I was going to try to love him again…

“Look at the effect I have on you without even touching you Marie, tell me Chris makes you feel this way?” He asked but I didn’t respond “Tell Me!” He shouted

“Please Harry…” I whimpered “I have to go back now”

“Fine… I’ll let you go back but, just know…” He leaned in closely and his lips grazed my cheek “I’ll never stop fighting for you. I’ll make you mine again Marie” he promised in his husky voice.

I tried to turn and walk passed him but he stopped me and pressed me against the wall with is body. He continued to roll his body into mine as he breathed “I won’t kiss you… because of him… but one day… you’ll beg for me.” He kissed my cheek then turned and walked towards the door, “I’m gonna talk to Ed bye Marie!” he smiled and waved.

I shouldn’t feel like this, but my heart won’t stop racing and I can’t stop my cheeks from blushing… ‘Please Harry, just stop…’

I walked back to my room, with my heart pounding out of my chest and out of breath. When I walk into my bedroom I saw Chris curled up on his side wrapped loosely in the covers. I smiled at that, he looked so peaceful and beautiful. I felt a pain in my heart as I laid down next to him.

He rolled over to face me and wrapped and arm around my waste to pull me closer, I nuzzled my face into his neck, he was warm and comforting. Everything thing I wanted… but was it what I needed?
