~Charlie POV~

"What were you thinking?!  Getting into a fight with another student!"  Madam Maxime yelled at me in French.  "I should have taken you back to Beauxbatons when I found out you had come to Hogwarts in the first place!  I don't know what I was thinking!"  She continued.  She towered over my small frame; making me feel even more insignificant than I already did.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?!"  Madam Maxime finished.  "She called me a halfbreed."  I whispered, and I swear when I said that, something in the giant headmistresses eyes softened.  Madam Maxime sighed and said, "This is your one and only warning, Miss Lupin, if you do something like that again I will send you back to Beauxbatons.  Do you understand me?"

"Yes Ma'am!"  I said, nodding my head.  "I will be writing to your father though.  And I'm sure Karkaroff will be doing the same thing for Riku."  Madam Maxime said, and I felt as if my soul was torn out of my body.  He didn't know Riku and I were here.  We were so dead.  "You are dismissed."  She said, waving one of her gigantic hands.

I bowed to her then turned around and walked to mine and Fleur's room.

"Zo?" Fleur asked in English, and I was glad to have a break from the french.  "She said I could stay as long as I don't do something like that again.  Plus she's writing to my daddy."  I sighed.  "Zat is it?!"  Fleur yelled, as if not believing what she had just heard.  "Yep, that's it."  I said, hoping onto my bed.

"Cherry, you 'ave got to teach me 'ow to do zat zometime."  Fleur muttered.  "Nope, it's my secret!"  I said, laughing.

I spent the rest of the day in mine and Fleur's room; playin with Sep and talking to Fleur.  When nightfall came, Fleur and I went to sleep, but not before having a contest of who could hold their breath the longest.  I held my breath for so long I passed out.  Yep, I pretty much won that contest.

When I woke up the next morning I was colder than usual.  I looked around and saw that I didn't have a blanket.  "Damn."  I said, getting up.  I checked the time and saw that it was 7:30.  Fleur was still asleep and snoring like there was no tomorrow.

I groaned and grabbed a black jacket, pulling it tightly around my body.  Septimus was sleeping so I didn't wake him up.  I walked outside of my room then outside of the carriage, looking towards the Durmstang ship and wondering if I should go over and wake up Riku or not.

"Oh, fuck it."  I muttered, pulling my jacket closer to my body and starting to walk to the ship.  When I got to the edge of the lake I realized I had no idea how to get to the ship from where I was at, so, being the intellectual person I am, I began to yell.

"RIKU!  RIKU!"

I kept this up for a good five minutes before Victor stuck his head out of a window and yelled back, "SHE ISN'T HERE!!  SHE LEFT TO FIND YOU ABOUT TEN MINUTES AGO!"

"OH!  THANKS!"  I yelled back before turning around setting off to look for Riku somewhere else.  I found her in about ten minutes staring at something in her hands.  "Riku!"  I yelled, running to her.  She turned around to face me, and her face was pale.  "What's wrong?"  I asked when I reached her.

"We're so fucked."  She whispered, and she held up what she was holding in her hands.  "Shit."  I said sharply.  In her hand was a red envelope.  We both knew what that meant.  Hell, everyone knew what the red envelope meant.  "Can we ignore it?"  I whispered.

"You know we can't."  She said solemnly.  We both just stared at the letter for another minute before, with a shaking hand, Riku started to open the letter.  I held my breath and I could tell Riku was holding her's as well.  Once the letter was open, Riku let go of it as it suspended itself in the air and began to yell.

"CHARLOTTE ARELLA AND RIKU SARAH LUPIN!"  Dad's voice erupted from the envelope.  "SINCE WHEN HAVE I GIVEN YOU BOTH PERMISSION TO BE AT HOGWARTS?!"  Riku and I exchanged a look of 'oh shit'.  "I AM TERRIBLY ASHAMED OF THE BOTH OF YOU!  WHAT MAKES YOU THINK SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE!?  WHY DO YOU THINK I KEEP YOU BOTH SEPARATED?!"  He continued.

"IT'S TO KEEP YOU OUT OF TROUBLE!  BUT OF COURSE YOU GO AND GET YOURSELVES IN TROUBLE TOGETHER ANYWAYS!  IF I GET ONE MORE LETTER LETTING ME KNOW THAT YOU TWO HAVE GOTTEN INTO TROUBLE I WILL PERSONALLY COME TO HOGWARTS TO DRAG YOUR  SORRY ASSES HOME!"  The Howler ended there, falling slowly to the ground.

"Damn.  I guess my bad language is rubbing off on dad."  I said, trying to lighten the atmosphere.  It didn't work.  Riku was staring at the ground and I was still upset.  Then it hit me.  This is all pug face girls fault.  I started walking towards the castle.  "Charlie?!  What the hell are you doing?"  Riku asked, walking next to me.

"Nothing."  I lied.  "You're a liar."  She said, grabbing my arm and spinning me around to face her.  "Now tell me what the hell you're about to to do."  She demanded.  Even though she was about an inch shorter than me, she still looked threatening.

"I'M GONNA GO KILL THAT BITCH THAT GOT US IN TROUBLE!"  I yelled at her, yanking my arm out of her grasp and walking towards the castle.  "No!"  Riku yelled, grabbing my arm and spinning me around.  "KNOCK IT OFF RI-" But I didn't get to finish that sentence because before I could, Riku slapped me across the face.

"You needed that."  She said, rubbing her hand that she slapped me with.  "You cannot let your anger get the better of you.  Did you listen to nothing Moony just said?"  She asked me, and I looked down.  "That stupid bitch isn't worth our time okay?  Besides.  The last thing you need right now is to be thrown into Azkaban for murder, right?"  She said, raising her eyebrows.

"Would I get special cell for being a halfbreed?"  I said bitterly, glaring at her.  "Don't listen to what she said, okay?  You are not a halfbreed. Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."  She said, saying my favorite quote that dad would always say to me whenever I was feeling disgusted by what I was.

"Riku?"  I said, calmer now.  "Yes?" She asked.  "Thank you."  I whispered hugging her.  "Ya, ya, no need to get all sappy on me."  She said, hugging me back.  We let each other go and Riku smiled slyly at me.

"So.  Who's that blonde kid you keep talking to?"  Riku asked, wiggling her eyebrows.  "Oh, ya know, just some kid that I might like just a little bit."  I said, sitting on the ground.  "Oo la la."  She sang, sitting down across from me.  "Oh God.  You're worse than Fleur."  I groaned.

"Oh shut up.  Why don't you ask him out?"  She asked.  "ARE YOU CRAZY?!  ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY WALK INTO MORDOR!"  I yelled.  "Really, Charlie?  Really?"  She asked, shaking her head.  "Lord of the Rings quotes are always acceptable."  I replied, grinning.  "Ya.  Apparently so are Doctor Who quotes, huh?"  She asked, glaring at me.

"Oh shit."  I said, standing up.  "YA!  HE TOLD ME ABOUT THAT!"  Riku yelled as I started to run away.  She may be stronger than me, but I'm deffinitley faster.  "HAHA!  TRY AND CATCH ME NOW, BITCH!"  I yelled, laughing loudly.  "Screw you!"  I faintly heard her yell as I ran into the castle.  "Hmm, hope I don't get lost today."  I muttered, walking up a staircase on my left.
