Chapter Five

Signless has the crowd in the palm of his hands. The low bloods cheer in agreement to every word that leaves his mouth. Disciple quickly writes down every word uttered by the troll she was red for. Psii and Siren stand guard by the crowd, alert for any threats. Finally stands Dolorosa who stands by Signless, an evident look of delight in her eyes. Signless was the best risk in her life.

Soon the crowd was a loud mess. Every troll in the village was now there. Some soon become angry and attempt to damage property. Siren flies to the scene and uses her angelic voice to calm them and send the troll back into the crowd.

Loud sounds of horses and marching from near causes the crowd become restless and panic. "How much longer?!" Psii yells trying to stop trolls from panicking much father. "He's almost done dear!" Dolorosa raises her voice over the noise. "We must go now! The crowd is drawing too much attention and they're nearing much faster!" Siren shouts. Yet Signless continues. There is only one more page left.

They arrive. Hoards of blue bloods. This rally was too big. "Protect the young, old, and Signless!" Psii shouts, his psi ionics starting to fuse. "Understood!" Siren shouts back, pulling daggers dipped in poison out of hidden places.

Blue bloods are falling yet trolls were being taken away for execution. Psii raises the amount of his power as Siren throws two daggers at once while kicking away guards. "Finish Sign!"

Screams and the sound of footsteps fill the air. Trolls start to run to safety. "We need freedom! One day we must all live in equality!" A guard slashes at both of Siren's cheeks, making two neat lines under her eyes. Maroon blood seeps out of the new wounds causing Siren to grit her teeth. She stabs a dagger threw the troll's blood pumper.

Finally Signless utters his last words. "Let's go already!" Psii yells, clearly in pain. "There's still too many guards!" Dolorosa answers as her and Disciple attack any who near Sign. "Cover your ears!" Siren orders. "W-why?!" Psii yells his voice cracking. "Just trust me!"

Once they cover their ears Siren kicks a guard backward. She opens her mouth as wide as possible and let's out a wail. The wail is so loud it sends the guards to their knees as their ears start to bleed. Despite having their ears finely covered Siren's friends still hear the wail.

"Let's go!" Siren gestures for her friends to run. Stumbling they all run into the forest. The only memory of them being there is the rainbow covered floor, shattered glass, paper, bodies, and a faint echo of a wail....
