I looked into the infirmary and saw Lucy gasping for air and coughing. I couldn't help but run in and start helping giving her CPR. I wanted her to live. I never got to ask her....
Tears slipped down my cheeks as I tried and tried to save her. She slowly calmed down and could breath right.
I hugged her and sobbed. "Lucy. I'm so so sorry!!" I cried out. So unmanly but she was the love of my life.
I shouldn't have said anything to that girl. I prayed she would stay. She would stay with me... I really need her in my life.
Her eyes widened and she sits up. "Where am I?" She asks. I didn't look up at her.
" Can I have alone time with Lucy?" I asked Wendy and Erza.
They left and it was just Lucy and I.
"Luce... it wasn't me...i-"
She cut me off
"I know it wasnt... my mom...told me...and I know you would never do that to me... so...nothing to be sorry about really..." She said petting my hair gently. Her voice was so soothing.
"I love you so much Lucy... I'm sorry..." I said looking at her.
She smiled at me "I love you too Natsu"
I leaned in and kissed her soft lips. The taste of strawberry and vanilla.
I got up and left.
