Chapter 1:
I slowly trudged through the cold, soft snow. To have snow on the ground in October is very unusual around here. I guess it has to do with where I live maybe. Up here in Maine is boring. No one ever thinks of this state and no one wants to move here. Luckily by my nineteenth birthday I'll have saved up enough to move to California with my two best friends, Scarlette and Jordyn. For now though, I'll have to suck up pain of living here.
The Next Day:
"Alexandra! Wake up, it's time to go to church!" My mum said, sounding in a hurry.
I groaned, "But mum I'm eighteen, almost nineteen. Can't I skip church once in a while, please?" I pleaded, not really wanting to get up just yet.
"I guess just this once you can Lexi. Just this once though!" She sighed and shut my door.
I waited until I heard the car door slam to text Scar and Jordyn. I love my mom and I love God but sometimes I need a lazy day, you know?

Scarlette: Heyy Al, hey Jordyn (:
Jordyn: HEYY YOU SEXII BITCHES!
Me: You guys want to come over and discuss the details of my partyy?
Jordyn: Hell YES!!!
Scarlette: Jordynnn calm your tits! and haha yeah
Me: Okay, see you guys in a half hour?
Scarlette: Yup bbg <33
Jordyn: You betchya!!
Me: ... Jordyn you scare me lol
Scarlette: Agreed
Jordyn: Whatevsssss byeee
Me: PEACE

I put my phone down and got my ass out of bed. I went into my bathroom and took a hot and relaxing shower. Just as I was getting out of the shower my two best friends barged into the bathroom. I barely managed to grab my towel because I almost freaking fell into the toilet!
Scar and Jordyn cracked the hell up, "You almost fucking faceplanted into the toilet!!! I wish I recorded you!" yelled Jordyn.
"Oh my god. Fuck you Jordyn! Why do you gotta creep up on a sista? I did almost face plant into the fucking toilet!" I said in a pissed of tone. They both pouted and I softened my glare. It's not totally their fault. To be honest, the thought of me face planting in the toilet is kind of funny. Actually it's hilarious and I started cracking up.
They both shot me confused looks and I told them it would be funny and we all started laughing.
I stopped laughing and told them to go downstairs while I got ready. I put on really skinny, dark blue skinny jeans, my red and white Sleeping With Sirens tee-shirt, a purple hoodie, and my ugg boots. Then I clipped my bangs back with a bobbi pin and put on eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss.
