Chapter Six: Happy Birthday To Me

I am happy to say that I have been a lot more motivated to write. It seems like I don't like to but I really do love to write. I have so many ideas for this story and others but that is my problem. I want to fit so much stuff into one book (this one) but with all of those ideas I don't know where to start. And also I have to do small stuff that I already started like her birthday (which is this chapter) and even though people say I am a good writer I don't see it but my friend @sarahorawr does and Sarah when you read this, I love you and also you are my tomato! Pretty on the outside but not tasty on the inside omg xD haha Okay. On with the story lovelies!!

Chapter 6:

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Lexi. Happy birthday to you!" Scarlette, Jordyn, Dani, and shockingly Jeydon's voice woke me up from my slumber.

I almost screamed for the fact that a cute boy just saw me while I'm ratchet. I stuttered a little bit, "Uh, thanks, you guys.." I trailed off, seeing four faces grinning happily at me.

Scarlette grinned, mischievously, "Get up and get dressed. We have a huge surprise planned today for you."

I just stared at her blankly, still not fully awake. "Okay." I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes to change in the bathroom.

I slipped into dark blue skinny jeans and I put on a white tank top with a black blazer. My face paled when I saw my wrists, though. Where the hell did I put my bracelets?!

I frantically searched the bathroom. "Scar? Scar!"

"Yeah? What's wrong?" She called back.

"Come here. Now, please." I was shaking at this point.

Opening the door, Scarlette saw me and immediately hugged me. "What's wrong, babe?"

"I need my bracelets! Where are they? Can you please find them?" I was begging her.

Eventually I started crying and I felt so stupid. Why did I feel this way? Not being able to find my bracelets makes me cry? What's wrong with me?

She got up and left the bathroom to go find my bracelets. "It's okay sweetie, I'll be back in a sec."

Whilst leaving, she motioned for Dani to come and stay with me. I was a mess and I felt terrible because now I was keeping Jeydon waiting.

Dani came in and started to rub my back. "It's okay. Darling, it's okay. You could just put makeup on them. Or you could show the world that, while you don't take pride in it, you're not ashamed of your scars."

Basically sobbing at this point, I looked Dani in the eye and I was about ready to confess. "I am ashamed, Dani! I'm ashamed because I never stopped."

"What? You're kidding me," she said incredulously.

Shaking my head, I try to stop crying. Thankfully, Scarlette came in just then, smiling. "I found them, lovey!"

I wiped my eyes and forced a smile. "Thank you, thank you so much. Now if you guys will get out and go converse with Jordyn and Jeydon, so I can get ready, I'd appreciate it."

Smiling, both girls left without another word. I slid on a bunch of bracelets, which included my Lokai bracelet, braceletes I made with string, beaded bracelets and some cute silver ones with infinities or hearts.

"Breathe in, breathe out." I kept saying that, still trying to calm down. After a minute or so, I managed to calm down enough to put on my eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. I sighed, feeling like a complete idiot. I tied my hair into a french braid pony tail and exited the bathroom.

Jeydon stared at me with his mouth open making me feel self conscience. Out of habit, I started touching my face and hair, to try to feel or wipe away what was wrong. "What are you doing, Lexi?" He asked, so confused.

"T-The way y-you were staring... I-I thought there was something on my face." I stuttered, while biting my lip.

Smiling as he came over to hug me, he laughed breathlessly. "No, silly. I j-just thought that you.." He mumbled the rest so I couldn't hear.

"That I what, Jeydon?"

"Look beautiful," He said , while blushing profusely.

"Really?' I asked, quite shocked. "Erm, thank you. Like a lot." I smiled while hugging him.

All of my friends started squealing and smiling, which made me laugh. 

"So... What are we all doing today?"

Scarlette smirked, "Well that, my dear, is for us to know, and for you to never find out. Well, until it actually happens!"

"I'm slightly scared now."

"Don't be such a baby, Lex!"

"B-But--"

"No buts. We have a lot to do today so we have to get started." 

"Why do you keep checking your phone?"

Scarlette sheepishly put her phone in her pocket and looked up at me. "No reason.."

"Well if it's no reason, then why aren't we getting started."

"Because... We have to wait for someone."

"Scarlette Patricia, who else is celebrating my birthday today?"

Shocked, she replied, "Someone... but seriously. Just wait okay? Today is going to be a day you'll never forget."
