Frisk made their way into a large throne room which had a single chair in the center at the end of a dark red carpet. Dim lighting shone pass the windows and faintly beamed down onto the chair, making it look rather lonesome. Below the chair were a large patch of pale yellow buttercup flowers and thorny vines holding the chairs legs to the spot. A large figure sat in the chair with it's head tilted down towards the floor. The crown on his head was tilted slightly to the left and it's cape was ripped and torn at the end.

"So... You finally came, human..." A deep male voice sounded from the figure and he slowly rose his head so the faint light can show his appearance better. He looked similar to Arial with black fur and long sharp horns that curved towards his back. A pale pink scar ran along the center of his forehead and across his right eye. He stared at Frisk with royal red eyes in a death glare that was enough to make them shiver.

"I've heard so much about you, human... Why don't you tell me about your travels over a nice cup of tea!" He growled and a black trident materialized in his left paw. He tossed the trident at Frisk who only just managed to dodge it and started shaking a little.

"You think a human can just waltz in like nothing happened in the past?! Do you plan on taking everything from us here too?!" The king bared his sharp fangs at Frisk and they could see the faint outline of a shadowy figure floating above him. It had the outline of a pair of eyes that were dripping with blood and a crazed smile and Frisk knew who it was. It was the same person who messed with Sins's head and held them down to die. It was the same person... The first human to of fell into the Underground.

It was Chara...

Frisk just shook their head and signed to Asgore.
"I don't want to fight you. I just want to help the monsters escape..." They stared at the kind who just snorted in response and held up another trident to throw.

"If you want to help so much, then why don't you just die!" He snarled and threw another black trident which Frisk did their best to dodge again. They knew that he wouldn't listen to reasoning if Chara had been filling his head with lies. They wondered for a moment...
'How many monsters did Chara convince that I was bad? How long...' There were a few monsters they encountered throughout their time in the Underground that didn't want to be near Frisk at all and some gave them a look of disgust, but Frisk didn't mind and just usually smiled back. They thought it was just because of the past and they never got the chance to meet a friendly human before which could be part of the reason, but if Chara was actually able to convince them that Frisk was bad?...

"Isn't there a way I can help without anyone having to get hurt?" Frisk signed back a little hopeful. Asgore stood there for a moment before shaking his head and the shadow the hovered next to his shoulder crossed their arms and laughed.

"This game is over now Frisk. Just admit defeat and accept your death already! You're 'friends' can't help you here and you won't even fight! I've won this game of tag." Chara said in Frisk's mind and Frisk shook their head a few times. Asgore took the chance and summoned a crimson trident, swiping it left and right and Frisk ducked down and tried the roll away until the tip of the trident stabbed into the ground and trapped Frisk from moving away any further. They held their breath for a second and quickly slide down to get away from the trident before it dissolved into flames.

"Give up already!" He growled and sent fireballs towards Frisk. They were the same color as Arial's but Asgore summoned up more than she had before. Frisk got several burns along her arms, but she still stood up and just stared at Asgore.

"I won't give up. I've made a promise to all of my friends that I've made down here even if there aren't that many. I don't want to be consumed by hatred or pity and falling into doing things I may regret later on... You don't truly think destroying every human is right, do you? I know... You've adopted one in the past and it ruined your family." Frisk signed and at the mention of adopting a human child, their gaze rested upon Chara's shadow who was seething anger.

"I know Arial didn't like what you were planning ad that she's really lonely and sad right now. Don't you want to see her again?" Frisk gave a hopeful smile and Asgore took a few steps back before snapping his jaws.

"Arial... How do you know about this, human!? This al happened a long time ago!" He summoned more fireballs and Frisk just stood there, signing a response.

"The monsters told me about this while I was walking here. It's also talked about a lot in the cave down here too. I really want to help if there is some way I can without anyone having to get hurt..." Frisk took a few steps forward before stopping in front of Asgore who gave them a hard stare before it slowly softened a little. Chara hissed in annoyance at this and her lips started moving, but no voice could be heard.

"You really care about us, human? I though all humans were terrible that day... I'd be glad of your assistance" He extended one large paw out and Frisk gladly placed their hand on top of his with a smile.
