Chapter 1:Mara

"Mara!" I turned around and smiled. Running up to me was my long time crush,Steve Rogers. "Hey." I replied. He smiled. "Nat and the rest want you to train with Thor,with your powers. Then spar with me without powers." He informed me. I nodded and left to get into my suit. It was blue with black sides. In the front was my symbol,a V running with electricity. My boots were black with the same logo. I had a leather jacket that stopped above my ribs. To top it off,electric blue fingerless gloves. I walked to the room where I would be training with Thor.
"Greetings,Lady Mara." Thor greeted me. "Hello, Thor." I replied with a smile. Thor pushed a button and a Hydra dressed dummy popped up. I conjured electricity on my finger tips,curving into a ball in my palm. I added more electricity from my other palm,creating a giant ball of blue electricity. I shot the blast at the heart of the dummy and it exploded. Thor looked impressed,he always did. For about another 45 minutes,I trained with Thor then left to get out of my suit. I changed into shorts that stopped mid thigh,an electric blue tank top,and black sneakers. I jogged to the training room where Steve was waiting. He was beating the living daylights out of a punching bag. Wraps protected his knuckles. I smiled and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled. "Ready?" I nodded. He threw the first punch,aiming at my jaw. I ducked and jabbed my closed fist at his gut. He quickly dove to the side and swing his leg out,trying to trip me. I jumped over his leg and did a back flip. After awhile of fighting, we were both running out of energy. I could tell he was getting tired and knew I had and advantage. I kicked him in the gut. I didn't like to see him injured,but I wanted to show I wasn't weak and wanted to win. Just as I was about to lean over to help him up,an unknown forced pushed me down. Thank goodness I put my hands down so I was only hovering down over Steve. He smiled and seemed to faintly blush. I almost giggled at his cuteness but instead got up. I extended my hand and he took it,pulling himself up. "Looks like you win." Steve smiled. I smiled back. "Well,that's the end." Steve said,wiping sweat from his face. I did the same,then Steve did the unexpected. He hugged me. This was normal,but it was tighter than usual. Like he never wanted to let go. I darkly blushed (thank goodness he didn't see) and hugged back. Steve pulled back and smiled at me. I smiled back.
