Chapter 7:Mara

I couldn't lie to him.
               "Always and forever."
He smiled wide and hugged me. I blushed lightly and hugged back.

Nat and Wanda rushed through the door.
                "One hour til your date!" They shouted in unison. I giggled.
                "What happened to you two? You two are the least girliest ones here. I was expecting Pepper." I said. As if on cue,Pepper ran through the door.
                  "Tony told me about your date with Steve!" She said with glee. I groaned,she continued.
                   "I brought make up!" She said.
                    "Woah! No make up. There I draw the line." I said. Pepper sighed.
                     "At least a little blush?" Pepper pleaded.
                      "No. I already blush enough around Steve. I don't need more." I stated. Pepper sighed again.
                "Will you at least wear a dress?" Wanda asked. I sighed.
                "I guess. But I better be able to wear boots. No heels for me."
                "Fine." Pepper huffed.

By the time we were done,I was wearing an electric blue dress,boots,and my golden locket necklace.
Suddenly, there was knock at the door. I immediately blushed and Pepper grinned. Wanda walked over and opened the door. Steve walked and looked around, then his gaze setting on me.
            "Wow, you look beautiful Mara." He smiled and I blushed. He took my hand and kissed my knuckles softly, causing me to blush harder.
       "Shall we go?" asked Steve. I nodded with a smile. He wrapped his arm around my waist and led me out the door, huge grins on Pepper, Nat, and Wanda's faces.
