2- Risking it all

In the middle of the night, Steel snapped awake and noticed tigress missing. Odd. He thought and went outside. He heard a yowl from the town and saw bandits, black wolves, dragging a tied up Tigress with a gag in her mouth. He snarled then grabbed his claw gauntlets and leaped out the window.

The bandits had Tigress tied to a tree and threw knives at her, cutting her clothes. One knife cut her pants off making her blush. "Haha! Beat that!" One laughed. Steel growled and his dark gray fur blended in with the dark and he leapt out and took down one. He sent smoldering coals at their weapons. "Touch those blades and I'll blind you." He said, rage burning in his voice. They whimpered and ran. He threw the one he took down away from them. He cut her down and she hugged him, crying. He stroked behind her ears. "Shh... It's OK. I'm here." He said softly. She looked at him and smiled lightly. "T-thank y-you." She said and nuzzled his neck, purring. He nuzzled back and licked her cheek. She blushed and smiled more. "Let's get back to the palace." He said and she nodded. He lifted her up bridal style and ran back to the Jade Palace. Tigress fell asleep in his arms and nuzzled his chest, purring softly.

When they arrived, the others ran up to him. "What happened?!" Shifu demanded. "Bandits kidnapped her. I followed and scared them off." "What's with the cuts on her clothes and body?" Po asked. "They were having a contest to see who could get her clothes off first by throwing knives at her." He said and never noticed the wound in his side. "You're bleeding." Viper said. "Its nothing." Steel said and walked to tigress' room and lied her down and covered her with his coat and sat down, eyes closed and ears swiveling searching for any sound of a threat. She will be safe, I swear on my life for that. He thought.
