Sunset {Completed)

Chapter 7.

I was jolted awake by a dream of my mother.

Opening my eyes, I saw Caius by my window.

"Caius? What happened?" I asked.

He looked at me, and didn't say anything.

Next thing I knew in wrapped up in a hug by him.

"Don't ever do anything that stupid again, Cessyanna."

I laughed "I don't plan on it" I said.

He laughed with me.

We stayed in a hug like that for about twenty minutes.

I felt...connected to him somehow.

He pulled away and sat beside me on the bed.

Then I felt a pain in my back, I winced.

He looked at me on high alert.

"What?" he asked.

"My back."

He looked at me and said "Be right back" and left.

I don't know how long it took him, or if he came back.

Because that pain had me Fast asleep.

Funny thing is I don't need sleep.

After Caius found and told Aro who said he would get Carlisle.

Caius went back to Cess's room.

Only to find her, asleep.

He went down and told Aro.

''Asleep, vampires are not exposed to sleep Aro!" he told his brother.

"Caius, settle down, Carlisle said he was on his way" Aro said.

Marcus watched, waiting for Caius to hit Aro.

''Aro, don't you see why he cares? you were that way before, and so was I" Marcus said to him.

Aro nodded "I know, but, still he is being a little to overly protective."

Caius was so furious, he slammed his fist into the wall beside Aro's head.

Aro's eyes went wide, he gulped "Caius, calm down brother."

"Don't tell me what to do! When is Carlisle going to get here" he said, furious.

"In a day or two please settle down" Aro said.

Caius slumped against his throne.

Marcus looked over and said "She will be okay, Caius, besides you two are soulmates."

Funny thing is we don't have souls, I think.

__ next day__

Carlisle arrived at noon.

Cessyanna still hasn't woken up, so, Carlisle went to work.

Apparently, she was tender in her arm, because when he would touch it she would wince.

It hurt Carlisle to see his adoptive daughter like this.

Finally, he decided to try to give her human blood.

"Now I want everyone to step back" he cautioned "Because when Cessy wakes up, there ain't no telling what will happen."

I tasted something sweet enter my mouth.

'What is that?' I thought.

Blood, human blood, my eyes came open, I jumped from the bed, aware of people watching, and spit it out.

I gagged.

"Time for a hunt?'' a voice asked.

I looked up Carlisle.

I nodded, and followed him out the backdoor.

We came to a stop in the forest.

I closed my eyes and listened.

Birds, wind, leaves, and deer.

As I ran toward the scent. I saw it, I was up in a tree, balancing on a branch.

I jumped down from the tree and attacked.

It put up a fight, but, I sank my teeth into it.

I threw it to the side when I was done.

The pain was gone, now I could go back.

Back inside, we headed to the throne room.

Everything was quiet inside.

Because they were talking very low.

When Caius, and Rose saw me, they about fought to hug me first.

Rose went first, I heard Caius growl.

When he hugged me, he wouldn't let go, when he needed to.

"Are you okay? Do you hurt? How was the hunt?" he started asking all kinds of questions.

"Caius slow down I'm fine but, if you keep on hugging me like this I will break" I joked.

He smiled "How was the hunt" he asked, I looked at him.

"Fine, do you not see the front of my T-shirt?" I asked.

He laughed, and I was glad he was my soulmate.

Because, he was connected to me in a way.
