"Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack"

Timber still mad, even though he sometimes forgot what he was even mad about. He had enough. He thought, if Nova were here right now, she would tell me not to trust Destiny, because she's from the enemy's clan... But if I did leave her at the cave she might not survive, I mean she has no clue what comes around every month or so... So he figured he might as well go back to the cave, bringing food he had to have something to apologize with... He came back home with a deer in his jaws. Certain enough Destiny was there. Sitting. Waiting. After their meal, of which they ate almost instantly, being that neither of them had eaten at all that day. No words, they sat their speaking with only looks, looks of Timber exchanging the, "I'm sorry", or Destiny would give him back "It's ok, I shouldn't have been so pushy."

"I'm sorry I have just been a little worked up lately..." Timber spoke finally breaking the silence. "I think we should get out of this cave and find new land, if we stay here to long whoever came by to destroy our clans could come back to make sure that the job is done." Timber looked at Destiny with a sincere look on his face, as if he didn't care who she really was or who's clan she was in. Timber looked at her with a look that she had never seen before, and to be honest she felt like someone actually cared about her for once, but what Timber didn't know about her was that she was an outcast from her old clan, Tsume. She hid the mark on her paw still shocked that he hadn't found it when she was injured.

"Ya lets go." Destiny replied back while still hiding the faint mark on her back left paw. Timber looked at her with severe confusion. She watched as Timber started on his way, she stuck behind him still scared that he would see the mark on her paw.

"Are ya coming?" Timber snapped Destiny out of her trance that she was stuck in. She was wondering what he would do if he were to find out that she was an outcast... She cant think about that now, she is neck deep in this "Adventure" now that she cant just get up and leave. Even if she did want to leave, she could tell that Timber had taken a liking to her being around, likewise with Destiny.

"Ya, sorry I was just thinking." Her thoughts of her paw slipped away out of her mind. For she was having a fun time with her only friend. Timber.

"Thinking never got the greats anywhere! Never mind I take that back, yeah it did... But that's neither here nor there... Come on if we want to find new territory before the end of the year we better hurry!" Timber looked at Destiny like nobody else ever had, with care. And Love. And Respect. And he wanted nothing to happen to her, she could tell all of this just by the look in his eyes... She could feel her emotions going dark again, he couldn't be with her, even if she wanted. He would never take her over whoever this Nova was, she truly meant a lot to him and she will always have a place in his heart. Destiny felt sad, he was partially right, too much thinking can lead to dark thoughts, emotions that have never been felt before, like: Hate, disgrace, forgotten, greed, aggressive, frightened, timid, and the worst of all. Loneliness.

"Ya, but I bet I can find one before you!" She yelled back putting on a happy face and bolting in front of him leaving a trail of leaves floating right behind her. She saw Timber speed right back on up against her,  he was obviously faster but he stayed right there with her. Letting her slowly take the lead. Just to mess with him, she almost instantly stopped right in her tracks. She watched as he flew forward. She noticed what was right in front of him and ran up to him to move him out of the way, so he wouldn't be seriously injured, or even worse. Killed. What sat right in front of them both was an old rusted down car, glass shattered everywhere, but one right in front of the hood. Sharp as a tungsten needle. Destiny AND Timber not knowing what this thing was they carefully examined it. Destiny let out a howl of pain as she stepped on a piece of glass. Timber rushed over to her side of the "thing" and carefully lifted up Destiny's paw and watched as blood slowly trickled out of her paw. Timber carefully pulled out the piece of glass. They were dumbfounded by what one piece could do, their paw pads weren't thick enough to withstand this object.
