The Unveiling Of Gaster's Experiment

**This is going to be an actual story! Yay! Since I will have this story going and the Gravity falls story going at the same time, I will upload this story every other day. And the days that I don't upload this story, I will upload Gravity Falls. Super sorry that I won't be uploading as much, but now there is more stories to choose from! Yay! Anyway, back to the actual story.**

The entire underground is at Gaster's unveiling. This is the biggest event that has happened in the underground since that ball Asgore hosted. Gaster waited backstage for the curtain to open with him and his invention.

"And, we may not have the most resources to choose from, but we can still make many inventions! Like this one that our royal scientist is about to show you.

"Gaster, our royal scientist, has been working very hard in this invention. I called him up frequently, and every time he said he was working on the same invention. So I hope this machine will be all that it is built up to be! No pun intended."

The crowd laughed. And right in the front row, were Sans and Papyrus. At this time they were pretty little. Maybe toddlers? You can never tell the exact age of a monster down here. Gaster felt a lot better knowing that Sans and Papyrus were standing there cheering him on. It gave him a confidence, and he wasn't nervous anymore.

"Now, why don't I stop this speech and get on to why we are here? To see Dr. Gaster's invention! This will be a surprise to me as well. He was very secretive when we talked about it. Now. Without further ado, here is, Dr Gaster!"

Everyone knows and loves Gaster. He has made the most useful inventions for them. He invented the power supply for the underground. He invented a way to get Internet underground. He created InstaGaster, the most popular social media site in the whole underground. Everyone lives him.

"Thank you! Thank you! Now. If you are wondering why you are here, I will show you. I won't waste anymore time. This is my invention!"

Gaster pulled the white sheet off of his new machine. The crowd gasped and whispered to one another.

"Wow, what could it be?"

"Does it have to do with power?"

"Why do we need this?"

"What is that?"

"Can we go get spaghetti?"

Gaster knew that comment he heard was probably Papyrus. He loved spaghetti.

"This is a nuclear powered satellite! It makes much better Internet, faster GiFi, and much better power and energy. This will revolutionize our energy and energy storage!"

Everyone on the crowd cheered. They were all very happy that finally we have better energy. Since monsters live in a giant cave, energy isn't the best. Everyone was really excited to see how everything worked.

"I will have a testing of this machine tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. If you would like to come and see this satellite in action, come to my lab tomorrow at 2:30! I'll see you guys there!" Gaster announced.

Everyone in the crowd was excited to go see a new invention of Gaster's in action. Including the boys. Whenever Gaster comes home with a new invention completed, Sans and Papyrus always want to see the invention. They are always so fascinated by his work. The brothers were going to get front row seats to the testing of the new satellite.

**The next day**

Gaster walked out to where his satellite was. Almost everyone that was at the unveiling was at the demonstration today. But Gaster wasn't nervous. His inventions always work.

"Ladies and gentlemonsters, I would like to welcome you to the demonstration of the machine that will revolutionize our energy! Are you guys ready to see this satellite in action?

"YES!!" The crowd yelled at Gaster.

"Wow you really are excited! Let's get this started!"

Gaster flipped a switch. Then adjusted the settings. He made sure it had been exposed to nuclear power before that, so he was checking on the supply of power. Then he walked over to the other part of the satellite that looked like a large metal box with switched, buttons, and levers on it. He flipped a switch and pulled 4 levers in order. Then the inside of the satellite started to glow a greenish-blue.

This isn't good... It wasn't supposed to be these colors... I think the satellite is malfunctioning... Gaster thought to himself.

"Who here thinks Gaster should turn up the power so we will get better Internet faster?" Asgore said. Clearly, he didn't know that it wasn't working properly. But, Gaster had to obey king's orders when the crowd said yes, so he bumped up the power. The satellite was turning very green now. There was a lot of visible electricity and it was making a high pitched feedback noise.

"EVERYONE! GET DOWN!" Gaster screamed.

Everyone instantly either covered their heads, or ran away. But since Gaster was standing right in front of the satellite, and he was standing up keeping everyone safe, something bad happened. Something horrible happened. Right in front of his sons. He was zapped with nuclear electricity right in front of Sans and Papyrus. They instantly thought they should go and help their father, but they had to run to be safe.

"Go... Your... not safe... I'll... Be... Fine..." Gaster mumbled to the boys.

The brothers wanted so bad to help their father, but they didn't want to be hurt. So they ran away. And all the monsters ran away. They didn't want to be shocked by the electricity coming from that machine. No one came back to help Gaster. So he was left lying there with his failed invention. He was left there alone with no one to keep him from dying.

The underground had no idea what a big mistake they had made by leaving Gaster behind when his machine malfunctioned.

They would soon realize what they had done. And they would pay.
