I was with my best friend, Rae, at the mall. Over the years, I've forgotten about Blake Beckham. He was gone, and I was never going to see him again. And now I had a new boyfriend, His name was Maxwell. I was happy with him, but, honestly, I was happier with Blake, but Maxwell never knew that.
Rae and I were walking past Radio Shack when I saw him walk out of the store. The guy I fell in love with years ago, who moved away 5 years ago, who I thought I was over, was standing right in front of me. It was Blake.
"Baylee? Wow, you've really changed."
"Blake? Oh my god! I thought you moved away years ago. I--."
"I've been trying to get a hold of you, and uh... Can we start where we left off? I know it was 5 years ago, but I've been dying to see my sweet, sweet Baylee."
"Blake, I'm sorry... I thought I was never going to see you again, so I moved on. I have a new boyfriend already."
I still loved Blake, but no one knew that. And I have just shattered Blake Beckham's heart.
