Part 14: Meet The Alverenga's

(Lexi POV)

We pulled up at their house. It was a nice 2 story home with 5 bedrooms. I remembered the last time I was here and so far nothing's changed. "Well here we are. The home of the Alverenga's." Kells look at me. "I thought your moms maiden name was Alverenga?" He whispered. "No its Lawrence. Her and my dad aren't officially divorced." We got out of the car and Kells grabbed my hand. "You nervous?" He asked. "Little bit, you?" He smirked. "I ain't got no worries, I aint got no worries." He was singing No Worries by Lil Wayne. We followed Haley up to the door and I saw Kells staring at her ass. "Colson stop staring at her ass." I said while playfully smacking his arm. "Ow, sorry..." She unlocked the door and she walked in leaving us on the porch. "Mom! Dad! I'm home!" We saw a skinny short white women run to Haley. "Haley baby! You're home!" She hugged her and looked at me and Kells confused. "Haley, who are they?" She asked. "That's dads daughter Alexa." Her eyes widened like she was unhappy to see me but then fake smiled and hugged me. "Nice to see you Alexa." She said awkwardly. "You can call me Lexi." I said correcting her, I could already tell this wasn't going to go good. "This is her boyfriend..." Kells cut her off. "Colson, nice to meet you ma'am." Kells leaned down and hugged her. "Oooo a gentlemen, Haley hardly ever brings those home anymore." I chuckled and Haley smirked. "Enough about my love life, dad is here right?" A car pulled up right next to Haley's. A husky tall Puerto Rican got out of the drivers seat and two kids climbed out of the back. "Haley! Haley!" They yelled running up to her and hugging her legs. My heart started racing. "Hey baby, hey Haley, who's your friends?" He asked while looking me in my face. I could tell he sorta recognized me. "Dad this is...." He frowned. "Lexi is that you?"

(Kells POV)

He made us all go inside the house. Being the noisey white people we are though, we peaked out the window and listened to the convo. I could hear Haley's mother talking to Haley behind me. "Why the hell would you bring her here? You know how your father feels about her." "First he's not my father he's her father, second, what kind of dad wouldnt be happy to see his kid that he hasn't seen in almost 10 years?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I ignored them and started listening to Lexi and her dad. "Who the fuck do you think you are coming here like this." He said to her. I could feel my blood boiling, why the hell is he yelling at her like that? "I thought you wouldn't mind, I just felt like I needed to see you, you haven't tried to reach me in 10 years." She yelled back. "Fuck what you thought, you can't just show up here unannounced!" I heard her sarcastically chuckle. "It wasn't unannounced, Haley knew, and besides what were you hiding... Oh maybe the fact that I have 2 younger siblings that I knew nothing about." I heard Haley gasp. "Mom I thought you said that Dad told her about the twins." Haley's mom didn't respond. "You weren't supposed to know about them, everything was going fine, I had the perfect life and then you decide to show up!" I saw Lexi clench her fists. "Oh ok! So our family wasnt good enough! We weren't your idea of the perfect family. Is that why you haven't said SHIT to us in the past 10 years!" She screamed in his face. "I wrote letters!" "NO! I wrote letters! Your ass never fucking wrote back! I cant believe I even wanted to see you! Your such an....an asshole!" I saw him raise his hand at her to smack her but he lowered it. "DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW MANY NIGHTS ALAINA CRIED FOR HER DAD TO COME BACK OR HOW BRANDON WAS BULLIED HIS WHOLE LIFE BECAUSE PEOPLE SAID HE WAS SUCH A CUNT THAT EVEN HIS DAD DIDNT LOVE HIM ENOUGH TO STAY!" She was on full blown scream mode by now and was crying. "WE WERE HOMELESS FOR 3 YEARS BECAUSE MOM GOT SICK AN COULDN'T PAY OUR BILLS! WHERE WERE YOU DAD?!" He just stood there speechless. I saw people walking out of there houses across the street to see what was going on. "I don't even know why I'm telling you this dad, you probably don't give a fuck." He frowned. "Alaina cried?" He mumbled. "Yeah, she had the same nightmare for 2 years straight about you walking out on us. The only person there to comfort her was me because mom was sick." You could see his eyes watering. "And Brandon..." He mumbled. "Bullied throughout middle school and high school because of you." He just stood there and Lexi nodded her head in disappointment. "Im going to go, Kells has a concert tomorrow and I'm not wasting his day off here with you." She turned towards the door and he lifted up his head. "Who is Kells?" She stopped but then kept walking. She opened the door and pulled me outside. "This is Machine Gun Kelly dad, he's a rapper." He smirked. "A rapper?" He asked. She chuckled sarcastically. "Oh is he not good enough for you either, does he not fit into your agenda?" I heard people across the street saying my name. "Is he your boyfriend?" Her dad asked. She paused but right before she could say anything I cut her off. "Yes, she's my girlfriend. She the best thing that has ever happened to me and the nicest person anyone could ever meet but if you can't see that sir, you must be blind." He smirked. "And who are you to be saying that to me." I shrugged my shoulders. "Just another person who knows what Lexi is going through and can see how terribly her father treats her." I grabbed Lexi's hand and intertwined it with mine. "Let's go babygirl, you shouldn't have to deal with this asshole." She smiled at me and we went to go walk. Haley came running outside. "Do you guys want a ride?" She asked. Lexi turned around. "No thanks, we'll walk. I'll call you late though Haley!" I smiled.

A few people across the street had their jaws dropped as we walked by. "Oh my gosh its MGK." People ran up to me and asked for autographs. Within 5 minutes there were already about 100 people surrounding us. "Damn Tennessee is laced up." I blurted out and Lexi laughed. A guy walked up to me. "Can we do a EST chant?" He asked. "Sure." He smiled and lead it. "EST!" The crowd screamed and joined in. "WHAT THE FUCK!" "EST!" "WHAT THE FUCK!"

(Lexi POV)

My phone vibrated, I pulled it out and saw it was a text from Haley. "Im so sorry about what happened. I swear I didn't know. Im glad you stood up to him and btw we can hear you guys' chant all the way down here still." I smiled at the text. Kells looked down at me. "What's funny?" He asked while smiling. "Oh nothing. Just chant louder. I want to rub it in my dads face." He chuckled. "I can't hear you guys!" The crowd got louder and louder. My ear drums were ringing. "EST! WHAT THE FUCK! EST! WHAT THE FUCK!"

(Later that night)

We arrived back at the hotel and walked up to the hotel room. "Hey guys." I said as we walked in. Slim and Dub were playing NBA 2k 13. "Hey how was it?" Slim asked while pausing the game. "Nigga why you pause the game?!? I was winning!" Dub yelled. "No you wasn't. You was getting your ass whooped." I laughed. "It was horrible, my dad was an ass but I got to curse him out and then meet some of Kells' incredible fans." They smiled. Ash walked out and hugged us. "Oh my gosh you're alive!" Me and Kells laughed. "Of course we are, why wouldn't we be." Kells said. "You guys are on the news. Someone filmed your chant and there were about 300 fans surrounding you guys, come look." We all headed back to Ash's room including Slim and Dub. We looked at the tv and sure enough we were on the screen. All you could hear was "EST! WHAT THE FUCK!" The guys filming it were some people in the crowd and even a news helicopter above us. "Now it is rumored that the police have a warrant for the arrest of Machine Gun Kelly and Alexa Alverenga for aggravated assault of 42 year old Robert Alverenga." My eyes widened. "What the hell? We didn't even touch him?" I said. They showed a picture of him and he had a black eye and and bruises all over his face. "You sure, he looks pretty badly beaten up." Ash said. "We're positive." Kells said with his jaw dropped. "He trying to get us arrested.... This is complete bullshit."
