Akina's POV
I was texting my BestFriend Hayes. We have known each other since the first day of 1st grade. Right now he was about to come over to watch some Movies (Netflix and chill I see 😏) I was getting the candy...popcorn and soda. When I finished with that I changed into my favorite honker team 'lightnings' shirt (idk if that's right 😂) and some shorts.
*knock knock*
I grabbed my phone and ran down the stairs, opened the door and saw Hayes. As soon as I saw him my heart fluttered. Did I tell y'all I have a big crush on Hayes since 5th grade. He is just so perfect. I wonder if he feels the same for me.
Hayes' POV
I knocked on Akina's door and looked at myself to see it I looked good. I was wearing my basket ball shorts with a plain white shirt. As soon as that door opened I saw...akina. Damn she is so perfect. I took my hands out of my pocket and gave her a bear hug. She giggled and it made me so much happier.
Akina's POV
We broke away from our hug and we started talking about school stuff. We soon started watching "white chicks". Thought the movie we laughed and I felt Hayes' eyes on me for a few seconds. I acted like I didn't notice but I sure did.
-3 hours later-
Me and Hayes we were playing hide and go seek and I was hiding. I was under my bed when I saw Hayes' feet. I started laughing cause he was making some weird noises. He stopped and walked closer to the bed.
"FOUND YOUUU" he yelled
"Nooooo" I laughed
I got out of under my bed and still laying on the ground. Hayes was Laing next to and he put his arms around me. A few minutes Hayes got up and he sat on my bed.
"Akina...can I talk to you" he said looking at me directly at my eyes.
"Sure" I
Said
"So...umm Akina...ever since we met you have made my world much more fun. You are the reason why I still am here...looking at your beautiful brown eyes. You are my purpose (😉) ever since 4th grade I thought you were the most perfect girl I have ever since. Before I get out of had with this speech I wanted to ask you a question. Akina... Will you do the honor and be... My girlfriend?"Hayes said softly. He got up and took something out of his pocket. He opened the box and it was a diamond necklaces. It was shaped as a heart and in the middle it said 'H+A=Forever'
At that point I was in tears. I started crying and said...
"Of course Hayes." I hugged him a me he picked me up.
For the rest of the day we watched movies, and made cookies, which ended up a good fight. 'Thank god my parents aren't home today'. After we cleaned up and I took a shower, Hayes had to leave. We stood at the door.
"I love you Akina" he said
"I love you too Hayes" I said proudly. We hugged again and he kissed my cheek. I closed my door and started to do my happy dance.
'This...is the best....day...ever.."
