After that sexual encounter August and I had a few days ago, I've been trying my best to avoid him. I mean apparently that's hard because I live on his property, but whatever, Im doing my best. I haven't seen much of him since the other day, I would usually make excuses for not answering the door, or I would try my best to leave and stay out all day and night. I couldn't face him, not after what happened between us. It was...awkward.

Today was my first day back at LACE and I was nervous as hell. One, because I basically disappeared on everybody, not letting them know I wasn't working. I knew my boss Oscar wasn't going to be to happy about that. And two, I haven't called Stasia back and it's almost been a week. I knew she was going to ask me why haven't I returned any of her calls, and I didn't have a answer to that yet, atleast a fake answer.

Around 7:30 I got ready or work with butterflies in my stomach the whole time. "Just Breath." I said to myself. I walked down the cobblestone path, and made my way to my car. August was nice enough to have Brutus deliver it for me. Ugh, the fact that he was sooooo damn nice made me feel worse for avoiding him.

I shuffled around my dance bag for my car keys. I had no idea where I had left them, these past days have been so crazy and hectic, I didn't know where anything was. All of a sudden, I heard footsteps approaching. "Fuck!" I said in a whisper. I knew it had to be August. This was the path that led to the driveway, and apparently he was going somewhere. I shuffled around faster and faster until I found my keys. I looked around the million keys I had on my key ring to find my car key. "Hurry up, hurry up!" I said to myself again. "..Simone?" I heard someone say behind me. I wrinkled my nose up and sighed. I slowly turned around to face him. "...Hey." "Wassup? Where you going?" August asked curiously. "Work." I said while unlocking my car door. "Oh ight, coo, do you want me to drop you off?? Im leaving anyways." He asked. "Uh NO! no." I cleared my throat. "I mean, no thank you. I can drive myself, it isn't a problem." August looked at me weirdly. He probably was wondering why I got so defensive when he offered me a ride. If he only knew what my "job" was, then he would understand.

"...Okay, be safe." He said to me as he walked over to his red Lambo. "I will." I said. I was just about to close my car door when August called my name again. "Simone!" He yelled out the window. I stuck my head out the side of the door and looked straight at his car. "Whenever you get back, can we talk?" He asked me sweetly. "NO." I thought in my head. "Uh.. yeah sure. But I gotta go before Im late." I said closing my car door and pulling off. What the hell could he want to talk about? I clearly stated that we were friends, nothing else. Im losing my mind over everything these days.

I pulled up to LACE at 8:00, since I lived in a diffrent area now, the drive took longer. I stepped out the car and stood infront of the building, I took a deep breath. "Here we go." I walked into the back entrance to find Oscar waiting for me at my dressing room. I wonder how he knew I would come in today. "Ms.Smith." He said with annoyance in his voice. He only called us by our last names when he was REALLY upset. "H-hey Oscar, how you doing?" I asked nervously. He handed me a blue piece of paper that I automatically indentified. It was our work schedule. "Read that." He said moitioning to the paper. I sighed and then started to read outloud. "Simone Smith a.k.a Lucious- (8:30-11)Monday, Tuesday, Thurday,Saturday, Sunday." I looked back up at Oscar. He cleared his thoat and began to speak. "Exactly. You had two days off this week, not four.

It's Saturday and I haven't seen you since some time last week!" He shouted. "I know, I know Oscar and Im sorry about that. I just wouldn't disappear without having a legit reason why." Oscar looked at me with a side-eye. "Let me hear it." He said as he folded his arms across his chest. "Okay well, my apartment got broken into by my ex, and I've been living in a hotel for the past week and some days, until I found out that one of my accounts got broken into by my ex again and I had to find a new place to live." I looked down at the ground the whole time talking, I didn't wanna see Oscar's reaction to everything I was saying.
