CHAPTER TWO - PILLOW TALK {ALASKA}
"n-no! m...mm.. stop! please let her go!" those words woke me up. I had forgotten where I was, so I was completely startled. after rubbing my eyes, I remembered everything, everything that happened yesterday. I then got up from the bed and ran to Stevens room. I swung the door open.
"S-Steven wake up please. you're having a nightmare, that's all." I said and shook him. his eyes almost instantly shot open. he clung to me, sobbing. "Steven it's okay, really..." I assured him, hugging him back, just as tight. "no i-it's not..it's really not." he said.
he began to shake, he began to breathe irregularly. "Steven a-are you okay?" I asked. he shuttered out words but I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I got on top of him. I was sitting on his lower stomach as I pinned his arms down. "Steven look at me!" I shouted, my eyes began to tear up.
how could someone possible make me feel all the possible emotions in one day? I wasn't even capable of feeling emotions other than regret and sadness before I met him.. I couldn't let anything happen to him while I was around...
he looked into my eyes, I could see raw fear, I could see sadness and anger. "please be okay." I said. his neck shot up violently and he sucked in a breath. it was as if he was possessed.
he blinked rapidly before getting zapped back to reality. "th-thank you." he breathed. "for what?" I asked.
"for being here for me. for not leaving when you saw me at my worst." he said, his voice soft and vulnerable. my lips twitched into a crooked smile. his eyes traveled from my upper body to my face.
I found myself leaning in...before I knew it, we were kissing. we stayed like that for minutes, his hands traveled up my shirt and onto my bare back. I pulled away "this is wrong, isn't it?" I asked.
"I don't mind." he whispered, pulling me back into the kiss. his lips were warm and salty due to the tears. his hands traveled down onto my bare thighs, he pulled away and said "you're freezing!" he then pulled on a blanket, it draped, covering my thighs. "thank you," I smiled.
he kissed my jaw, his hand went to my ribs, no further up. I got the chills. "have you eaten?" he asked. I bit my lip and shook my head. "dammit Alaska." he said, disappointed.
"I- I'm sorry." I said
"than don't do it again." he said quietly.
I looked away from him. "you know you're beautiful right? not that looks matter.. and even if you were what some call 'fat' you'd still be stunning. there'd just be more to love."
"do you love me?"
"I- I don't know yet." he said honestly.
