Weeks have passed and I got to know Drew better, he is actually a really nice guy once you get passed the player ways that he stopped suddenly; And 'The Bad Boy' rep which he didn't even have if you ask me.
Now here I am at lunch with my friends not listening to them really, and thinking about the test I have to take next period..
"Liz, Liz, Liz! are you listening to me?" I hear Veronica say I look up to her and she has an annoyed look on her face.
"No, I'm sorry V, I'm just stressed about the test next period." I say honestly.
She looks at me with sympathy.
"I understand, I was just wondering if you would like to go to the mall after school."
She says. "Oh, sure."
I say, she smiles and nods.
The bell for next period rings and I walk in the hallway but a hand on my shoulder stops me from opening my locker.
I look to my right and see a smiling Drew. "Hey." I say opening my locker.
"Hi, do you have any plans after school?" He asks.
I frown remembering I had plans with Veronica this afternoon.
"Yes, that involves Veronica and the mall but you could come if you'd like." I say looking up to a disappointed Drew but he wipes that off of his face and smiles.
"Sure, bye got to go. See ya after school." He says in a mumbled rush.
There was something in his green eyes that didn't shine today.
