Ch.1 The Class Project

Nerine's POV




I'm the biggest nerd in school. My grades are all A+ except P.E. which is a B- like I said P.E. ain't my thang. Anyway I've the biggest crush on the Goth boy named Elliott Mark Greene. He's the most mysterious and his aura I can't place were I've seen it from. And for crying out loud I'm a witch that's got to tell you something.




I walked into class as I always do and sit in my usual set in the back of class. As soon as the bell rings to signal you have to be in class. The class starts to fill up and the late bell starts just as the teacher walks in and 5 minutes later Elliott walks in and the only set that's open is the one next to mine. Oh no is an understatement my biggest crush sitting next to me. That's not good at all.




Mrs. Thomas was talking about a project and we were going to be paired up. This is so not good I'm better off on my own. The next thang she said made my blood go cold




"Elliott and Nerine you'll be working together"




I can't believe she would do that to me make Elliott and I partners. She must have a cold heart or fate must hate me.

I was lost in my world to hear the rest of the project plans.




Elliott's POV




Today's my 18 birthday,the day I find my Beloved,the day I find the one I'm meant to be with.




When I came to school I found the scent I knew I was looking for my Beloveds scent but what I didn't expect was that it was Nerine the witch and the school nerd. She's had the biggest crush on me since we were kids. I'm only a couple of months behind her my birthdays in December 12 and hers is Valentine's Day which is in February. Well I guess the crush was meant to be.




I decided to walk around school for a bit. I lost track of time and came in 5 minutes late for class. The only set left was near Nerine I guess she wasn't to pleased about me next to her.




The teacher was talking about a project that we're going to be pared up with another class member what the teacher said next I almost jumped up and hugged the women.




"Elliott and Nerine you'll be working together"




The look on my Beloveds face was as if the teacher lost her mind and she knew she should of done it on her own instead of be partnered up.
