I'm getting used to breathing again
Some days it's hard
And other days
It comes naturally
But then there are times
When I can't breathe at all
My throat closes up
Clogged with all the words I want to say
Filled with every desire
And every lie I've thought and said
Burning with every molecule
Of my entire existence
Forcing all the words and feelings
To stay inside
For no one to every hear my cries
For me to suffer alone
Because I refuse
To become
A burden
