Percy's POV

I woke up to almost be blinded, I instantaneously knew that I was in apollo's temple with his ridiculous golden tiles that make it seem like the sun is in the room. I groaned as I sat up and turned to see my cousin Thalia sitting in a chair next to me asleep, I carefully took the blanket off myself and put it over her and then stood up to stretch my legs. *snap* i heard my back crack and I groaned at the much needed feeling, I stumbled towards the door only to be stopped at a voice came from the fireplace "come and sit Perseus". I instantly recognised the voice to be Hestias, I smiled and walked over sitting beside the calm goddess, "how are you feeling Perseus?" She asked her face masked with worry. I laughed slightly and said "just call me Percy I never liked being called by my full name, as to answer your question m'lady I am feeling much better but I...." I trailed off as a painful memory came flooding back, Annabeth. I fell from the seat and started to sob. Hestia flooded me with warmth and held me close.

5 minutes later still Percy's POV.

I looked up at Hestia and quietly thanked her smiling slightly but the thought of Annabeth was burned into my head. At that moment Lord Zeus came through the double golden doors followed by my friends and the rest of the gods and goddesses except Dionysus...wait why even mention Dionysus he never turns up for anything. I subconsciously mumbled "lazy shit" at the thought of dionysus which was returned by a small laugh from Hestia as she could hear my thoughts.

Artemis's POV

I hate this i said in my head as I was stuck in yet another council meeting listening to my overly dramatic father go on about our victory, my attention was still drawn to the amount of power that Percy had shown and it made me curious as it was clear that it came from pure emotion which not many males tend to want to show, but not percy he was and still is different. He seemed like the perfect man and for what it was worth I thought of him as a friend. This is mainly because he became close friends with Zöe which in my hunters was the biggest man hater of them all. I was impressed to think about how much he had changed her opinion.

I was snapped out of thoughts when everyone stood up and luckily my half wit brother said that we were going to see percy. I regrettably thanked him and could almost feel his smug look. "Idiot" I mumbled quietly. I stood from my throat and flashed to apollo's temple which I have to admit is way to bright.

Percy POV

I stood and bowed to the gods and they all laughed and told me to stand. "We are here to thank you percy, we could not have defeated Gaea without you" stated Hera. I blushed at the praise and looked down to my feet earning another laugh from the Gods. "It's really no problem" I mumbled quietly and started to shuffle slightly when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I was flashed to the throne room. The Gods all flashed in and took their seats waiting for Mr over dramatic to start. Zeus flashed in last followed by the sound of thunder earning the whole council and demi-gods to roll their eyes. "Perseus step forward!" Bellowed Zeus with a smile gracing his face. I stepped forward and kneeled before Lord Zeus and he spoke loudly "you have once again saved Olympus from certain doom and hence you shall be rewarded. Now we all know you will reject to become immortal as you are to modest. So we will give you three wishes." I stood and spoke confidently "Thank you Lord Zeus, for my first request I would like both camp Jupiter and camp Half-blood to reunited" the Gods looked happy at the thought of this. I continued "I would like you to all keep tracks on your Children so any that are in danger can be rescued" the Gods once again nodded their heads. I finished my requests with "I would like to be given a few months to myself so I can explore the world" I finished quietly and the gods looked surprised but Zeus nodded. It was then that hestia walked over and said to me quietly "percy will you become my champion? You will gain full control over fire and home cooked food allowing you to summon it wherever you are." I stumbled back surprised but graciously nodded pulling the goddess into a hug which she returned happily "I've always seen you as almost a son Percy I'm glad you said yes" I smiled and stepped back. Zeus stated loudly "let the celebration begin."
