Percy POV

I have to admit I am nervous about being part of the hunters. It's hardly my monster slaying day but I wanted a peaceful place to relax in the wild anyway and if I get a new family as well then hey why not. I've always liked the hunters they were so skilled and their fighting style was flawless. I've always admired their skill and... I was cut short by Artemis who told me that we were nearing the hunters camp.

Artemis's POV

I could hear Percy's thoughts the entire way here and to be entirely honest it made me very proud to have such an elite group of female hunters, I was a little bit sad to take him out of his thoughts but we had finally arrived at the camp, and he looked nervous. Not that I blame him, he's in for a rough ride for the first few months.

Percy's POV

The first thing I noticed was that there appeared to be several arrows flying my way. Now usually I'd try and dodge them but instead I decided to think about what I would normally do in this situation. This was when I decided to mumble "I'm an idiot" as several arrows were about to hit me.

Artemis's POV

I smirked and let Percy go first wondering how my hunters would handle it. The first thing I saw was the flurry of arrows heading towards Percy. At first I wasn't worried as I knew he was easily capable of dodging them, however I was worried when he didn't move so just to be safe I threw a silver barrier in front of him blocking the arrows when I rolled my eyes and simply gave him a slap on the back of the head and whispered "sloppy", he looked down blushing and looking a slight bit embarrassed and decided to come up with the lame excuse that he didn't want to raise his weapon in case the hunters saw him as a threat.

Thalia's POV.

I fired my last arrow at the male intruder but was quite surprised to see him still standing after it. I drew my hunting knife and as artemis's lieutenant I spoke first asking him for his name and he simply replied "guess who" in a voice I would know anywhere. "Cousin?" I asked softly and he nodded. All of my emotions poured out of me and I threw my weapon to the floor sprinting at him crying my eyes out. I launched myself at him knocking us both to the floor as I cried into his shoulder screaming "I thought I'd lost you" after I heard Annabeth was dead I was torn apart she was like a sister to me and then not to long ago I'd heard I'd lost percy too. I cried into his shoulder for the next few minutes before I heard someone cough, I looked up to see Artemis and I simply said "hello m'lady" although on the inside I was quite embarrassed. "Could you let Perseus up please?" She asked me in a warm tone with a hint of playfulness. I again simply replied "of course m'lady". I climbed of Percy and helped him before charging up a lighting ball in my hand and slapping him in the face knocking him back to the floor before once again helping him up and giving him a quick hug and saying "welcome back Percy". He looked shocked (haha puns (; ) but also relieved and smiles saying "thanks Thalia it's great to be back", I laughed and cleaned the black mark on his cheek.

Percy POV

I ran to the tent that Artemis had made for me and jumped straight onto the bed climbing in and sighing as my back tensed at the sudden feeling of relaxation. It was then I realised how hungry I was and thirsty I hadn't eaten or drank anything for a while so I regrettably climbed out of the bed and ran to the mess hall where unfortunately the hunters where, just my luck that they turned around and decided to fire arrows at me which ended up with me running through the forest in a circle until I got to my tent again when I facepalmed and remembered Hestia's blessing with resulted in me casually looking up to the sky and shouting "fuck".

Artemis's POV

I laughed as my hunters chased Percy around the perimeter of the camp. I knew Percy thought it was out of hatred but to me I knew the hunters were warming up to him and were simply playing around. What made me laugh even more was him screaming when he remembered his blessing.

Later that night I decided it was a good idea to thank Percy for giving my hunters a nice time and to explain to him that they liked him. As I neared his tent however I knew something was wrong. It was at that moment percy grabbed me and threw me to the side as an attrrow narrowly missed my head. I looked over to him and thanked him. He replied my simply snarling towards the unknown enemy and summoning fireballs which he threw in numerous amounts towards where the arrow came from resulting in a large bang and several shades of red, orange and yellow with a slight tint of green Greek fire. I stood still marveled at his incredible display of power and within minutes all of my hunters stood behind me witnessing Percy's rage and power all staring in awe which made me smirk. Once the last of the monsters were obliterated by Percy's overkill he turned to us and let out a small laugh and ran off back to his tent which I shook my head to and ran after him.

Percy POV

As i killed the last monster I turned around and to be honest I was scared that I had scared the hunters so I let out a nervous laugh and ran to my tent.
