Chapter 4

6 years later

I thought it was going to be like every other day. Everything was normal. I woke up and got dressed had my breakfast at my cafe and return at midday to do some reading in the library.

Then before the sun went down I would go have a chat with Integra. That all happened and I went and had my chat with Integra the topic was alot different that night.

We stood together looking out the window. "You are going to make a good successer Isabeau." She said out of the blue in a quviering voice. "I don't know. I won't be as good as you were." I smiled.

"You have changed. You have been training so hard. Harder than I ever had. I believe in you." She smiled at me. She had grown real old I wish I could of seen her when she was my age.

"You know I thought I would liive long enough for your 22nd birthday." I looked at her questionly. "What do you mean?" She began to fall back. But I caught her. "Integra...no." I shook my head. "Don't go...I...I...I'm not ready." I held back tears. "Don't leave me please." She smiled at me. "You will go far. Further than I have."

"Can someone help me please!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Help!" The tears began to flow. "Integra no..." I cried.

Seras came smashing through the door along with Alucard. I cried. "No I don't want to lose anybody else." I cried more. "In...Integra...please."

I felt her body go limp. I looked up at Alucard. "Can't you save her!" I yelled. He shook his head. "She is no longer here and even if I could she wouldn't except."

"No this is not fair!" I yelled. More stagg members entered gasping. "We have to call the police." Seras grabbed ahold of me and pulled me away from Integra.

"No let me go." I struggled but it was no use from her vampire strength. She brought me over to Alucard. "Isabeau she is gone there isn't anything you can do." I looked at the arrogant look on his and pushed away from him.

"You don't care you never have and you never will." I yelled before running off to my room and slamming the door shut. I sat in the corner of my room.

A glimmer caught my eye it was the necklace arpund my neck. I unclipped it and threw it across the room. It didn't break just hit a wall and fell onto the ground.

I brought my knees up to my chest and buried my face into my arms. The only family who had ever given a damn about me was gone and I was turning 22 in a few days.

I cried for a long time then I heard footsteps in my room. "Go away." I said not even looking up.

They moved towards me. "You are now the new head of Hellsing and my new master." I looked at the vampire with red eyes.

"If I am your master then I order you to leave my room now!" I rose my voice. Alucard snarled. "You need comforting." He said. "Well there isn't anyone here I can trust to do so." I put my head back in to arms.

He growled and my heart hurt. Why do I keep saying those things. I want him to embrace me. I thought. "Very well I will then." I could tell he was grinning.

I looked up at him "What?" I tilted my head. "I'm telepathic." He grinned wider. "Wh...what?!" I stuttered. "So you just..." I stopped. "Oh yes I did."

With vampire speed he had me in his arms on the bed. He kissed me just like 6 years ago but my eyes fluttered shut. "I will not go further for it is not the right time." He said laying down next to me. Bringing me into a hug.

"You are mine Isabeau. My beautiful Isabeau." He kissed my forehead. "I will protect you." He said. "My master." We fell asleep in each other's arms.

Until the sun came up. My room was a really dark room if I remembered to shut the curtains. Which I have. I was wide awake just laying there thinking about the previous night.

Integra was gone and I have become the new head of Hellsing. What if I wasn't up to it. I was strong I can do this I am the last Hellsing.

I heard a knock at my door. I moved Alucards arm off of me and silently walked to the door. I opened it. "Seras?" I saw the vampire standing there. "The sun is up shouldn't you be in your coffin?" I asked.

"I just wanted to make sure you were alright." She said. "I'm fine trust me. I just need to get use to the fact she is gone."

"You have lost so many people." She hugged me. "My mother died when I was young so I don't remember. My father. When he died. I was happy. He was greedy he had women in the house all the time. I was glad he died." I said.

"Integra was kind towards me even after she knowing the attitude I adapted to." I smiled at the ground. "You aswell." I looked at her.

"Seras, the sun seems really bright you should go to sleep." I said to her. She smiled and nodded. "Yes!" She ran off down the hall.

I shut the door and rested my head against it. I sighed.

After I saw movement behind me I turned to see Alucard. I leaned back on the door. He walked up to me and moved hair away from my face.

He had the necklace in his hand and he put it around my neck again. "You are mine now." He grinned and pulled me closer to him.
