Umang and Maw already going on their journey for about two days two night after leaving Umang's father friend village and get themselves protection tattoo. Not a good experience though. It's hurt like hell.

Their journey quite a pleasant one so far nothing out of ordinary happen till they reached the village border which is marked by a river flowing lazily.

They decided to camp beside the river since it already dark. Umang set up the campfire while Maw cook meal for both of them. Their almost run out of their food supply which is been given by the kind Chief before. 'Umang, I think we need to go hunting tomorrow. We only left a little bit of meat and rice now, which is enough only for one meal' says Maw to Umang while they're having their dinner near the campfire.

'Maybe we can set up a trap tonight, it also can keep us safe from wild animals while we're sleeping' answers Umang. Maw nodded. They not really fond of idea hunting animals. They prefer caught animal by using trap because it less bloody.

While Umang set the trap up, which Umang learn that trick by many time watching her father do so back at home. Suddenly she feels sadness crept in her heart when she remember her father. She realise how much she missing him. Slowly tear drops flow down her soft cheek. She quickly brush it away. She need to gather her wit and be strong for the sake of her mother and villagers. She need to find her father quickly before their village got attack and takeover by other warrior or nearby villages.

At the riverbank, Maw prepare their sleeping place by placing a bunch of leaves and cover it using clothes which is act as their bed and set up a roof by using tree twigs and put banana leaves on top of it to function as a roof to protect them from morning dews. She stand up and admire her handiwork. She smile. It seems her lesson back at home didn't go wasted. She never thought that she will need that skills in this kind of situation. She exhaled trying not to think about her brother or else she will break down. She don't want that to happen now. She must be strong. She not weak willed Maw anymore.

While both of them lay down on their made up bed gazing upon the star along with sound of leaves rustling softly dance to the moonlight that manage to sneak between the rainforest thick canopy and insects sing to celebrate the nightlife, Maw ask Umang softly 'Do you think we can find them?' Umang don't know how to answered that question. Deep in her heart she also have doubt, in reality they both still young, didn't have excellent self defence skills plus they're girl some more will make them easy prey to the blood lust maniac out there. If they're lucky enough, they will become animals meal.

After uneasy silence, Umang answers 'Although now we can't see the outcome, I believe we can find them no matter what as long as we determine enough, plus what is life without hope. At least we are working towards it'. Umang find the words she said not only to comfort Maw but also herself. She need hope and faith. That the only thing that make her go on till now. She admit their journey is quite dangerous. They are out of their comfort zone.

In their culture, women usually see as a weaker creature compare to men. So their journey now seems very abnormal. Perhaps they should do something about it. Disguise. With that word in her head, Umang fall asleep succumbed to her restless night.

At early dawn, Umang and Maw wake up in alert. They hear people walk in the river nearby and start rummage through their food supply and growl like animal. They see a black shadow look like small kid eat their food.

'Who is there? ' Umang ask and holding large stick. Ready to knock the burglar that dare to steal their food supply.

Upon hear Umang's voice. The burglar try to run and escape. Maw throw clothes trying to catch that burglar. Umang hit the burglar after he been trap by Maw. But he manage to escape Maw trap and trying to run away.

In that mess suddenly Umang and Maw hear their trap snap. Umang and Maw look at each other and huge grinning on their face like they have score a big prize.

They go and check the trap. Upon seeing what been caught at the trap really shocked them. Their eyes bulging. jaws drop can't believe what they see.
