The Lake

Annabeth POV

After the horrible Boggart Incident everybody in the school was talking about us. I swear gossip in this school spreads faster than a flaming Leo. The first weekend after school we were all exhausted from the piles of homework being given. Most of the boys didn't really do their homework because we don't need to study for our O.W.Ls . I still made them complete some of it as Chiron pointed out how it would be slightly suspicious if some of us were failing subjects. We decided to go down to the lake. According to Percy there was a giant squid in the lake named Simon. Despite being slightly unnerving to the rest of us Percy was so eager that none of us could say no.
So we changed and headed down to the the Lake. Piper, Hazel, Frank and I relaxed along the edge of the water. Percy jumped straight in, of course. Leo, Jason, Nico and Thalia started to throw around frizzed trying to burn, electrocute and kill each other in the process.

After about an hour everyone had decided that it was time to head back. This gave us the daunting task of retrieving him from the lake. I tried calling him but he couldn't hear me. Eventually Leo had the idea to send a fireball into the lake, while it was not ideal it beat electrifying it ( Thalia) or having frank turn into a whale. When Percy came up he said " Do we have to go we've been here like 5 minutes?"
Everyone just rolled their eyes. " Come on seaweed brain." I said planting a quick kiss on his cheek.
"EWWWW!" Exclaimed Leo " some of us do not appreciate PDA" I laughed and started walking off with Piper and Hazel.
