Chapter 5

Aphmau's Pov
As me, Laurence and Nicole are heading back to Scaleswind, I shocked of why would Nicole know that me and Laurence where here it was strange...Me and Laurence left EXACTLY in the middle of the night. To much questions that Nicole didn't even answer me.

We've arrived at Scaleswind, Nicole thanked Raven for bringing us back to Scaleswind, even me and Laurence. Nicole lead us to her house but there is something missing, I asked Nicole " Nicole, where's Dimitri? I thought he is with you?" She answered " heh, I left him from Phoenix Drop, I was thinking that, When I left Dimitri there...He can be with his friends and his father." Then it was completely quite.

But, Laurence break the silence. " Ok, but we have to talk about something." Me and Nicole answered " What?" He said " uhh...the time where Nicole saved us?" I looked at Nicole with confusion, but Laurence didn't seem to be confused. But when I thought of something I smiled at her and said " yeah...you need to tell something to us both." smiling at her widely.

Her face was kinda shocked but she got confused she asked both of us " Umm...what are you talking about?" We stared at her deeply and at the same time " AHEM! " She said to us " uhhh..." We where waiting for her to say something but NOPE nothing at all! just staring at each others eyes.

As 1 minute pass, she didn't even get it, it was SO boring, I just want her to explain everything but NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL. Then I took a deep breath and said to her "*deep breath* ok, Nicole it's about you saving us" I said to her confidently and at the same time ANNOYED.

She looked at me and Laurence as in like, we are assassinating her. She realized something and it was about us. Then she apologized to us. " Oh, s-sorry I didn't mean to forget! heh..." I was waiting for to say something even Laurence but at last she said something I said to her. " UGH! THANK IRENE!". She looked at me and she was embarrased, She act cool and said " *AHEM* umm...sorry about that heh, my thinking is skills is getting low hehe." Me and Laurence is so tired of staring at her in 1 MINUTE and she didn't even notice.

As me and Laurence resting our eyes it really BURNS we where massaging it as like we where crazy poeple, then Nicole said to us " Ok, let's head to the dining room and I will give you both tea to drink c'mon!" We followed her while massaging our eyes (😉) and went to the dining room and sat down. My feet was jingling like CRAZY. 

As we where waiting for Nicole to get our tea Laurence asked me " So, are we going to go home to where Phoenix Drop was after this?" I said to him." Umm...maybe lets ask Nicole and--- OUCH I pocked my eye! sorry Laurence let's talk about it later..."

After that resting time, Nicole went back with the tea, she gave it to us and Me and Laurence took a sip and started the conversation.

I asked Nicole first " Ok, so...now did you know that me and Laurence was captured?" She answered " Oh! it's Raven! " I asked her with shockness " Uhh...Raven? how could that be possible?" I asked her while Laurence is sipping a tea.

She explained " Ok, it was Raven, she was supposed to be on her way to Phoenix Drop to tell you that the Tula Region is invading the Ru'an, then as she fly pass Tu'la, she saw you and Laurence. Well, she needs companion to help you and she picked me. She saw me outside of my balcony and said to me that both of you are in grave danger but she needs a companion so, I hop on her back to save both of you."

Nicole explained everything I understand that Raven saved us too even her but Laurence's question " gave me an idea " Ok, I understand that but why would Raven pick you?" I agreed of what Laurence said. I said to her " yeah...why did Raven picked you?" Nicole answered " Umm...I don't even know well, it's important that you where saved" I asked her " But, why?" Nicole answered " why? do you wanna be killed?" she said smiling at me creepily.

I said to her " WHAT?! NO, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!" she answered. " Because, your like regretting that you weren't killed..." she said suspiciously. I said to her " No it's not that, it's kind of a...mystery..." she interrupted me " Ooooooohhhh! Mystery! I said to her " uh, really?" she said " why not? " Then that's the time where Laurence asked something.

Laurence's Pov
I sid to Nicole " Oh, Nicole!" She looked at me and said " yes?" Aphmau looked at me wondering what would I ask. " I said to Nicole " Can Me an Aphmau, stay at your place?" Nicole answered happily " Oh, sure! Whatever you want both of you! " I smiled and Aphmau smiled too. She smiled like an angel to me.

But, Nicole said to me " Why are both of you tired?" Aphmau answered " yeah...it's a long journey..." So Nicole dissmissed the conversation and lead us to our rooms but Nicole told us something " Oh, I almost forgot! sorry if I tell this but, both of you must share rooms." I blushed even Aphmau. I act cool and said " Umm....s-sure heh..." Nicole answered " Hehe, great! hope you have a great stay! " Then Nicole left us.

Me and Aphmau went to our room, and I sat at the bed while Aphmau went to the balcony to have a good view. I was SO exhausted of what happened I can barely move cause I am so tired. I only noticed Aphmau looking outside so I tried to get up to go to her and then I went up to her and said " H-hey!" Aphmau turned around and said " hm..." I said to her " How about that Aaron issue...is he really gonna go to the nether?" She answered " Well for me, he would never do that. He is a kind person, I just hope it is a lie." I looked at her and hugged her.

I felt that she is sad in the inside, so I gave her a hug but she said to me " Umm...L-Laurence you can let go now..." I let go of her and she yawned " yawn* ugh...I gotta sleep see you at the morning!" She left me at the balcony and I was admiring the village.

Soon enough, I grew more tired, so I went to bed but...Aphmau was at the left side of the bed. So, I went to the otherside of the bed and lie down and I feel like I wanna hug her while sleeping. I reached out my other arm to hug her but slowly and the good thing is, she didn't mind, I held her and that's the time I slept while holding her hand.

Narrator's Pov
The night is still going while Laurence and Aphmau is sleeping even Nicole, there was a person on top of the roof of the Lord's house and as she looked at Laurence and Aphmau she said:

" It is a lie..."
