Chapter 12
Garroth's Pov
I went up the stairs to talk to Aphmau and as I was there I knocked, she didn't say anything, I was nervous and scared for once but I went in and greeted her.

" H-hi Aphmau, I'm here for just some assistance. " She didn't say a word. I walk up to her and sit infront of her. I tried to make her happy like asking questions like " Who is she? " She said " Lilith Garnet... " I asked her that quetion but, she remains sad. I was sad too so, I try again to cheer her up.

" A-Aphmau...I know how much you missed him and-- " she answered " Yes, I know, Zoey told everything to me... " She never act like this, her voice is so pale and her face too like she was been stuck here forever. I said " Ok...but, I'm still here with you. " She still looks sad, I hugged her and I heard someone knocking the door.

I opened the door and it was Laurence, He said with suprise on his face " GARROTH! " We hugged. He said " I-IT'S BEEN A DAYS WE'VE SEEN EACH OTHER! " I said " heh, yes...but, there's a problem here... " He said " I'm actually here for that. " I let him in and he went to Aphmau and talked to her.

I was thinking about them both very much, I still love Aphmau and she will always be in my heart, I realized that, if I didn't get that gem maybe, this will never happen *sigh* it's all my fault...

As he was done talking to Aphmau, Laurence got up and went to me and said " Garroth, Aphmau said it wasn't your fault. " I was suprised that Aphmau noticed that. I said " It's okay, I just want jer to be happy, He said " I need to tell you something...outside " We went outside leaving Aphmau with Lilith Garnet and he said " Garroth...I know it's been days we've been planning to save you and, did you change at all? I gave you time to express your feelings to her Garroth why don't you just say it! " I said " Cause I can't! " He stayed quite and I continued " I was shy, I just can't. " He said " Why won't you tell her! she loves you too! But now, I think she loves me. " My eyes widened and I said " I still love her from the bottom of my heart Laurence and please, let us not talk about this. This is not yet the time to fight. " I walked away and left him there.

Laurence's Pov
Why won't he grow up...I said to myself. I look through the window of Aphmau and saw her playing with Lilith Garnet. Heh, guess she found away to cheer herself up. I went down the stairs and saw Garroth fixing the old deck. I was looking at him and he didn't mind, I gave a chance to him to express his feelings for her. Since it's over, I got to express my feelings to Aphmau and I did it.

I walked away as I walked to the village, I still felt disappointed about it.

Aphmau's Pov
I still feel sad. I was worried about Aaron too much, I sheered myself up by playing with Lilith Garnet, since she's awake. I'm happy that Garroth showed up and talked to me even Laurence, I know they tried there best to make me feel happy.

While I was there with Lilith Garnet, Katelyn went in and said " Aphmau, I've been worried about you, your just staying here for.....days... " I stayed quite.

She continues " Ummm....sorry I barged in without knocking the door but, I'm worried, everyone is worried about
you. " I stayed quite until I said something.

I said " K-Katelyn...it's okay... " she looked at me and said " H-how can you tell your okay, your completely...pale... " I said " Since, Aaron is not here with me and Lilith, I felt sad...he was such a good father to her... " She looks at Lilith Garnet and said " Well, I too... " I looked at her.

She explained " I *sighs* since the day, Jeffory was killed...I was heartbroken and sad inside of me, I felt anger too, bit I controlled it.......I liked/loved Jeffory in my life...he was such a good person and side he's dead....I felt...sad... " She teared up one tear and I said " Katelyn, I-I know that you said to me he is a good person and he is. " she sniffs and I continued.

" I can relate to you....you know... " She went to me and hugged me and I hugged her as well, I tap her back and I comfort her until she gets better.
