"A woman, about in 30s, was found dead on a park. Several scratches all over her thighs, arms, and on the neck were revealed. Another victim by an unknown creature who kills innocent people every night. Thi---" she turns off the radio as she picks up her sling bag.

She then goes off to school. She saw oceans of police and inspectors focusing on a spot. She passed as she saw a lying blanket in a form of a human with large circles of red painted on it. Blood. She continue to her destination.

'It's been a week since that creature appears on TVs and papers.' she thought. She feel vibration on her hips. It was the cellphone inside her sling bag. She picked it.

'It was from dad' she raised a brow.

'Hey, Lena, care to stop by your uncles' house after school?'

That was content of the message.

'Uncle?'

She then reply a simple 'okay' and... send.

Few minutes later, she arrived at her school. She enter the school lobby and proceed to her locker. Waiting at the locker was her friend, Thea, who was leaning sideways.

"Morning Lena" she greeted first. Lena stopped by her locker just beside Thea. She opened it and turn her head to her friend.

"Morning too, Thea" as she smile a sweet one.

"Hey, heard 'bout the news?!" she pat Lena's shoulder.

"About the creature thingy, am I right?" as she gets some books and put it in her left elbow and pinned by her left hand. Thea nodded quickly. They started walking. Thea move closer to her.

"Did your dad saw the creature?"Thea whispered as Lena looked at her.

"I don't have any idea 'bout it. My dad message me on my way to school. He wants me to go to my Uncle's house." She reply.

They continue to chat as they stopped by a light brown sliding door with a vertical rectangle hole to see what's inside. Lena opened and saw some of her clasmates were here earlier than her.

"Morning guys!" Thea greeted her classmates.

"That's the second time this morning." Alex, one of her classmates, replied teasingly. He was sitting at the window.

"Shut up, Alex!" she retorted. The whole classmates laugh. Lena just chuckle.

"What's with the big deal?" Thea whisper to herself. Lena heard her and punch her back lightly which earned a glare from Thea.

"My, my, what's the commotion out here?" a male voice came from Lena's back. She turned her head to look over her shoulders. Her brows met as she glanced at the annoying Ethan Ashford, the ultimate player, which Lena didn't like about him. He has the looks, the money, the brain.

"Nothing" she roll her eyes as she goes to her seat.

Thea stood before her table and arms crossed. Lena raised a brow.

"What?"

"Why did you hate Ethan, Lena?" as her hands spread on the table.

Lena sighed and raised her index finger at the level of her face.

"First, Ethan is a boastful, stupid guy" Thea was shock at her answer.

Lena then raised both index and middle finger.

"Second, he's a JERK!" Thea frowned.

"And...the third one!" she raised her middle finger, ring finger and the pinky while the thumb and index touch each other.
