Chapter 27

"Good morning!" Madi was in the kitchen making something.

"Morning to you too. Did you sleep well?" I took a bite out of the toast that had just come out in the toaster.

"Eh." She shrugged.

"What happened Madi? You two are inseparable, what happened that made your relationship impossible?"

"I just don't think that Harry was really ready to commit to a relationship. That's all." She grabbed her cereal and sat down at the table.

"Madi, you were there for me when I had my breakup, heck your always there when I'm sad. Now, it's my turn to return the favor."

"It's fine Claire. Don't worry about it." She took a bite of her coco puffs. I wanted some! Madi, took the rest!

"So I'm going over to hang out with Louis today.. Do you wanna come?" I took another bite of my toast.

"No. I'm just going to hang out here today..."

"Madi-"

"No Claire! I don't want to go! Just leave me alone for a bit." She walked off heading towards her room.

I threw on a simple t-shirt along with some jeans and flip flops. I got into my truck and headed out towards Louis flat. As I was about to open the door to my car I got a text

"Don't go inside. I'm warning you, stay. Away from him, or else.

What the heck was that suppose to mean!? As soon as I exited my car Louis ran out to me.

"I heard you pull up!" He lifted me up spinning me around. I giggled until I saw a familiar figure.

"What's she doing here?" I whispered

"Liam wanted to hang today and brought Sophia, so I decided to bring you." he smiled as he took my hand.

"But we aren't together."

"I know. I just brought you as a friend." Sophia walked up to us

"Hey, Claire. Um, Liam needs to know where you want us to put your dog since he keeps trying to eat the food."

"Oh, Bear! Yeah he's fine you just have to put him outside." I replied

"Oh. Is that okay Louis?" What the! Is my response not important?!

"What Claire said is fine. Bear is her dog." Sophia nodded then headed inside.

"What was that?" I asked, Louis just shrugged leading inside to see my beloved dog.

I soon bumped into Liam which was pretty awkward! I grabbed him by the arm before he had the chance to get away.

"Can I talk to you?" Liam looked around real quick them nodded. I lead him outside

"Why have you been ignoring me lately? Look I know your with her, but you can still talk to me! I don't even get why you're dating her of she rejected you like 22 times, she's only with you for publicity!" I felt everything exploding inside me. Everything was running out of my mouth, things I didn't want to say, things I didn't intend on saying.

Liam looked so upset, he stood talk and looked me in the eyes

"Claire, I appreciate your concern but Sophia isn't that girl that was someone else, I didn't talk to you because your with Louis!"

"Liam, I'm not with Louis! I love you too, but you could've still had talked to me! You said that you'd always be here for me! The one time I need you, you turn away an pretend like I don't exist!" I wanted to start crying. Before I knew it Liam's big arms were wrapped around me, I lightly cried into his chest.
