Chapter 30

A/N I'm so sorry I haven't updated I've had a lot going on, like school ect. So as most of you know this is the last chapter, in Different Directions... But I'm working on the sequel so don't worry. Hope you guys like this chapter, I've been planning this for a while so ya, hope you love it!

Claire's POV

We got out of the car, Louis took my hand a lead me to the boardwalk.

"Why didn't you tell me we were coming to this beach?" I asked.

"Just thought it'd bring back some good memories, that's all." Louis gave my hand a tight squeeze.

"Louis, this is the beach where, we first kissed." I mumble the last part.

"I know." He leaned in and kissed me. It wasn't a lingering kiss, it was more like a 5 second kiss. But it was sweet even if it was short. I felt so much emotion running through my veins . I felt scared of falling in love again, I felt excited! I felt loved again. I decide that it was my turn to take action, I pulled Louis into me wrapping my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my waist and we kissed. Louis pulled away and took my hand,

"I didn't come here to just make out, Claire. I mean trust me making out with you is just fine but I have dinner waiting for us." He chuckled as we walked up to a blanket. There was several battery candles around the area, with a little picnic basket in the middle. It was so beautiful I must say.

"Do you like it." He asked a we laid down on the blanket looking up at the beautiful sky view. It wasn't that dark yet but the sun was going down and the sunset looked beautiful.

"I love it." I laid my head on Louis chest, and listened to his soft breathing. Nothing felt more romantic than this.

"Open up!" Louis said as he tried to put a strawberry into my mouth.

I started laughing.

"Louis I'm going to choke on this!" As I was chewing he kept trying to put more food into my mouth.

"Now I get to feed you!" I laughed as I finally swallowed.

"Fair enough!" Louis opened his mouth as I put a cracker into his mouth. I felt a vibration next to me, I looked at my phone that was sitting on the opposite side of me.

Liam: hey, hope I'm not ruining your 'food feast' but I'm going to get something to eat and I'll be right back.

Me: sounds good, hurry back.

As I put my phone back down Louis was looking at me.

"Who was that?" He tilted his head towards my phone

"No one." I said hopping he didn't know that Liam was watching us.

"No one, really because you were smiling like crazy when you got that text." He looked sad.

"It was just Liam, he wanted to know how are date was going. That's all." I said. At least I was telling part of the truth. Louis nodded his head.

"Hey don't be like that!" I said sternly.

"What?" I pushed Louis down and laid down next to him.

"I love you, Louis." I kissed him. It wasn't meant to be like 'let's make out

til we do something stupid' kind of kiss, it was a simple 'I love you and your everything I want' kind of kiss.

Louis pulled away and kissed my lips one last time before speaking.
