Note: Oh wow! This has more views than my other work, Death's Curse (Previously known as Falling To My Death) That's crazy! Thank you so much <3
Sorry it's a bit short, but I had to cut it off here or it would be much too long! Next chapter is less of a filler and has more drama in it ;)

"Well everybody keeps coming up to me and saying 'Oh urm, I didn't know you were so intelligent...' And well, I say, 'I didn't know you were so stupid but...'" - Marilyn Manson

That voice... why do I know that voice? It sounds so familiar... It sounds like home. I wish these shadows would go away, and show me the man behind the voice. He keeps calling a name, but who's name is it? Why can't I understand him?
The shadows seem to tighten around me. No longer are they comforting or caring. They squeeze me, making me gasp for breath, for air I don't seem to need.
But just as they seem to never let go, the shadows, everything dark, fades away, and a bright yellow light is in their place. I know this light... Why do I know this light? I go to touch it, but something grabs onto my shoulder.
I turn around and see a man. He has tears in his chocolate brown eyes. Tears that shouldn't be there. Why is he crying? Those tears make his pale face glisten softly. His red lips move, but no sound comes out. Is he the one behind the voice? Why does this man look so sad?
His arms wrap around me, hugging me tightly, but not as tight as the shadows. This hug seems to be full of emotion. Slowly, I hug him back. Everyone needs a hug. The yellow light begins to fade, being replaced by a bright white one, one that hurts my eyes.
I go to tell the man to shield his eyes, but he's already gone. Where did he go?
And more importantly... where am I going?

Several hours, and a long car drive later, I was back to the cage that was my birth home. The plane ride was terrible, filled with tears and people who wouldn't shut up.
The car ride wasn't as bad. Shari knew that I needed sleep, and gratefully turned on some Aerosmith and let me rest as she drove. She knew me better than I knew myself.
She didn't wake me up when we got back. No, she left that to our dog Dobby. She opened the car door, and let him jump up on my lap.
Dobby isn't a small dog. He weighs 150 pounds, and is huge. I love every bit of him though.
"Dobby!" I cry out, my legs hurting from his weight. He only responds by putting his nose in my face... and sneezing. "Thanks a lot!" I laugh. Shari pulls him away from the car, to let me get out.
"What's been new with you?" She asks me.
Shari stands at 5' 3", and has medium length dark brown hair. Her and I can wear the same shoes and pants. We share a lot of things. Except bras. Her breasts are giant compared to mine.
"Oh you know... taking up the family business in LA." Her jaw drops as she understands what I'm talking about.
My mother used to clean houses, and Shari does too. I knew it was only a matter of time before I got roped in.
"You?! Cleaning?! I must be in heaven!" Chuckling, I embrace her in a quick hug.
"Well, I started out cleaning. I now manage the paper work with the business owner, Abby. She's my roommate. I met her on the flight down there." I begin to go into detail about Abby and how we became friends. She laughs at the simplicity of my life.
