Picture of Brooklyn and her outfit

-Cole-

Watching the security cameras, I realise this Agent Zarau looks familiar. I just can't think of who it is. "You're thinking to much, your brain is gonna explode." Says my little sister, Callie.
"Ha ha, very funny. I need some advice, Cal."
"What about??" Asks Callie.
"There's this girl, that I like, but I don't know how to tell her and I kinda only met her yesterday..." Trailing off I look at Callie's face; she looks like she's been waiting for this moment her whole life. Suddenly, I regret asking her for advice. "OH MY GOD!!!"

Yup, big mistake.

"WHAT DOES SHE LOOK LIKE??? WHATS HER NAME, OMG I WONDER IF SHE'D GO SHOPPING WITH ME?!" Callie shouts.
"Callie, calm, deep breaths." I say.
"Oh yeah, sorry. Well I need to meet her to know what you should do, what you should say and where you should take her. Sooo...ask if she wants to meet up tonight?" She says, acting like a know-it-all; like always.
"Wait, now???" I ask.
"Yeah, dummy." She replies, rolling her eyes.

I shake my head, butterflies building up in my stomach. No, wait, scratch that; the whole bloody zoo was let loose. The elephants stampeded around in my bowls, Tigers and lions scratching at my lungs, giraffes stretched their necks into my throat; forming a lump. Somehow, I manage to croak out three words.

"I'll call her."

~Brooklyn~

I wrap a towel around myself, freezing from the swimming pool. Just as I am about to check out that webcam, my phone starts ringing. Snatching up my phone, I look at the caller ID.

Unknown caller.

I take a deep breath, expecting the worst and slide the green call button across. Hopefully it won't be this creepy, stalker, weirdo, you-can't-see-me-but-I-can-see-you person, tree. Yup I'm guessing he's a tree.

Nervously, I ask: "Hello? Who is this?"
"Hey Brookie, it's Cole...I was wondering if you wanted to meet up at Starbucks in fifteen I can't cope only being with my little sister." Cole says, sounding as nervous as I feel.
"Make it at Costa and I'll be there in ten. I have a bad history with Starbucks." I say, grinning like that cat from Alice in Wonderland.
"Ok, Costa it is." Cole says just before he hangs up.

Quickly, I rush to my bedroom and into the en suite, forgetting about the webcam. I have a two-minute shower and dry my dark brown hair in three minutes. I take about three more minutes picking my outfit, which is a belly top that says 'Blame it on my Unicorn' and some light blue denim shorts with some white sandals. Re-applying my makeup, I check the time and see I have one and a half minutes to get to Costa.

"Stupid unicorn, why'd you have to make me almost late?!"

Thankfully, Costa was only a short walk away from the house, so I got there with 5 seconds to spare. Not like I was counting or anything... Looking around, I spot Cole with a girl that must be his little sister and smile.

*Time skip!*

"...Wait, so why did you get banned from Starbucks???" Asks Cole and his sister, Callie, at the same time. "Ok, so basically, I was playing truth or dare with some of my friends, when I was seventeen, and I got a dare. My dare was that I had to go up to this Starbucks employee with a moustache and accuse him of being Hitler. My second dare was to go up to the till and ask for anything they didn't have. Then I accidentally punched one of the employees..."

"Ooh, Brookie, you rebel!"Cole punches my arm playfully.
"Don't call her Brookie." Callie hisses.
"Hello!? I'm right here!" I exclaim, ordering a coffee.
"And don't ignore her." Callie added, turning Cole around so he was facing me.
"I'll leave you two to talk." Callie smirked and walked away.

"Hey babe." Cole slid one arm around my waist.
"Do-on't call me babe." I say, pulling away from him.
"Why not?" He whined.
I sighed and sat down at a table.
"You like coffee?" He asked, watching me gulp it down dreamily.
"I love it. It makes all my problems disappear."
"You have problems?"
"Course. "
"I thought you were just like some..perfect beauty or something."

I blushed and turned away from him.
"Not so perfect." I reply.
I can feel his eyes searching for a problem, trying to spot the horror in my eyes.
"Cole, are you my friend?"
"Yeah..." He took my hand and smiled.

The smile didn't quite reach his eyes.

For a moment, I almost saw a hint of triumph in them. Triumph. I think back to the emails, how triumphant the stalker sounded, how cocky the stalker was. My eyes widen. "I-I've got to go...now. Bye!" I practically shout at him, shaking with fear.
"Wh-"
"Bye!" I shout again, running out of Costa.

Oooooo this Cole sounds like a dodgy character, but is the stalker actually him?¿? What do y'all think about Agent Carr? And what's gonna happen to Brookie when Cole has to kidnap her?! Wow. Only four chapters in and all this is happening. Too overwhelming! Ashie out! Xx.
