I was horrified at what had just happend. I tried helplessly to escape the lady's arms but the way she was holding me made it impossible to free myself. I was so far away from my mother that i couldn't see her anymore, the next thing i knew I was shoved into a box and had a present bow pressed on my head and then it got extremely dark, they had put a lid on the box and placed it in the corner of a closet. i was completely alone in a box and i was tired, hungry and i had no idea why i was here or what would happen to me so i went to the corner of the box, curled up and sang my mothers lullaby which made me end up crying myself to sleep knowing that my mother is injured and that I will probably never see her again.
the next day i was awakened by a sudden movement, the box was being moved, when the movement had stopped i was then temporarily blinded by light, someone had opened the box and i heard shrieks of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" i was scared to open my eyes but when i did i saw a girl peering into the box she then lifted me up and pressed me to her face. but then she held me away from her face and looked at me with a puzzled and kind of disappointing look. "but mom... i said i wanted a purple dog! this one is brown.." she said shaking me slightly "dont worry honey! we will dye her purple later" i heard her mother reply "No!!!" she screamed dropping me on the floor "i want her purple now!!!" then i was poked and prodded with different tools and things and by the end of it i was purple (with black paws) and boy was i mad! but being dyed purple was just the beginning and little had I known that my life would get worse...
