I woke up, Turing on the side of where Mo is supposed to be. I open my eyes and I see no ones there. Strange. She probably got up early. I get out of bed and stretch my limbs, yawning in the process. I walk outside of our bedroom and I shout her name. "Mo!" No reply. "Mo!" No reply again. "Maureen!" She's still not answering me. "Mo? Maureen?" I quickly run downstairs to check if she's still there. Living room, no. Kitchen, no. Bathroom, no. Backyard, no. Basement, no. Where on earth is she?! I'm really getting worried. I walk back to the living room and sit on the couch, putting my hands on my head.

"She's not here." I hear a woman's voice say behind me. "Who the hell are you?! And where's Mo?!" I say as I stand up from the couch. She shakes her head at me."Like I said, she's not here." I get even more worried. "Then where is she?" The lady smirks and says "She never existed." No! I try and jump at the lady but I instead hit the floor. I feel tears at the rim of my eyes, but I refuse to let them out. "This is what boredom gets you, Mr. Starkey." She says, as-a-matter-of factly. "An alternate world where the woman you love doesn't exist and you aren't in the Beatles." My head shoot up. "What the hell do you mean?" She laughs and says "In this place, the Beatles never formed." What?! This can't be happening. I pinch myself in hope of waking up from this nightmare but to no avail.

"Who are you, and what do you want." I say desperate to get Mo and my friends back. She just laughs again. "I, Mr. Starkey, am something far more dangerous than calamities, plagues, death. I don't have a specific name, but for now, call me Rose. Oh, and I don't want anything from you except to see you like a lost puppy." I look up at "Rose" in frustration. "What do I do to get back to my world?" She pulls out a small notebook from one of her jacket pockets and says, "Apparently, you need to get John, Paul, George, and you to play a show together. At least once." She then shuts the notebook.

I stand up and dust myself off a little. "Well, I'd best get dressed now." She nods at me approvingly. "Oh, and you're coming with me." Rose looks surprised. "What?!" Now it's my turn to smirk. "You got me into this situation, and you're getting me out."
